Is there a way to switch between SRM guided(lock on) and unguided fire? SRM acting as SSRM not always good as missiles would hit mech all over and not a specific part making precise component destruction and headshots impossible.

Load this mod AFTER MercTech Light (if using both). Otherwise, the advanced missile logic will be overridden by the standard MercTech missiles.

Updated to where LRM's that are direct fire will immediately engage their thrusters.

Going to try to work on that tomorrow, I just finished all the mechs for MercTech so can start to update other stuff now.

MagnumForceGB - I know you are really flat out working on Merctech so may not have had spare time but I wondered if you had made a decision about this mod and LRM direct fire?

You talked about changing the way the missiles worked in that situation about a month back? Realise you may not have bandwidth to actually do any changes right now but was just curious if they were going to be changed eventually?

Is this compatible with YAML?? this sounds really cool, but I get a CTD and im unsure if my load order is just wrong or if its a total wash

Pretty great, but it does completely break modded MRM launchers, causing the missiles to launch and stop dead in the air from the launcher.

Yes I believe that is the case. It's much more noticeable as an issue as the range to target decreases.

Does it happen with LRM's when you have a direct line of sight and under 400 meters? I might have to tell them to launch straight from the tube when doing direct fire. I wanted Indirect fire to act like Javelin missiles where they pop out and then fire off.

I do really like this mod but one thing that causes frustration at times is because the missiles eject from the launcher and drop down before the engines on the missile lights up, firing over some sort of obstacle tends to end up with the missiles hitting the obstacle. Not sure what is possible to do to change this. At my end I try to aim high but you can't go too far or you lose lock.
