it's venus' break the targets course
you need to use the break the targets stage and set venus as the 2nd player CPU and you get a short target breaking course in literally heaven

I think I found a bug with one of the runes in abyss mode, her C rune that should let her continue to charge segments with her D special lets you keep charging it, but then it resets to the next segment, even if I fill all 6 segments, if I had one segment before, it'll only fill the 2nd segment.

scratch the double jump its just mashing jump in general

Found a bug, after using double jump and fspecialing into an airborne rune you can mash jump to stay airborne forever

i will try the break the target course soon!

doesn't have one yet, but if things progress nicely i'll be able to talk about it proper

and funny you mention it, venus, bar reygard and asra are all meant to be in their own game together eventually, assuming all goes well ofcorse

but for now i recommend trying her break the targets course, it's a really fun time with her movement options

easily my favorite workshop character! she would work AMAZINGLY in a platformer game if she ever hypothetically got one, i can imagine levels just by toying around with her moveset. amazing job!!

really went on one hell of a rollercoaster with venus huh

I also like Asra a lot; she, Venus and Sonic are some of the characters I've been playing the most lately.

At the beggining I wasn't conviced that I was going to like Venus, because I wasn't that much into her combos nor mechanics, but I gave her a chance and I actually have a lot of fun doing combos with her, and getting creative using her mirrors.

First I was exited because I like characters that throw a lot of kicks (Ranno, Sonic, Blaziken, etc), then desapointed because the character wasn't as I expected, and the happy again because is actually pretty cool and just had to give it a try.

yeah, that's intentional, your healing is reliant on you needing healing yourself

Forgot to mention this a while back but Venus's healing Rune doesn't function if she's already at 0% (which was no doubt done on purpose), but it means she cannot heal her teammate(s) if she herself isn't hurt.

i'll need to look into it, but all i can say is that it's a pretty unpopular opinion and that if it was a different game i would have made all my jabs link cuz why wouldn't wanna see a cool flashy combo

i just went through them all, and while some characters do that, it's characters that have more reliable projectiles or traps, while more up close characters like ori or etalus have full linking jabs

that's honestly just how rivals usually does jabs, ideally yeah it would connect but it would feel really bad to be hit by it when people expect that they can tech it

there's very few exceptions that actually let you do the full combo uninterrupted (i think it's just orcane)

love this character, but you can tech her jab 2, preventing any combos or her full jab combo form working. it feel weird that the up close brawler character's jab doesn't link into the rest of the combo

the 2nd thing i don't neccesarly agree with but the fstrong hitboxes i actually do, it does feel bad when you charged for a while for no payoff
i can look into that

as for the dspec thing, i got that suggestion elsewhere and seeing how it feels, if it will exist or not is a different story (would definetly not kill though)

One more suggestion: Every level Venus' projectile off of f-strong gets stuffed by any active hitbox like weak jabs and weaker projectiles that do like 1%. I would imagine due to costing meter it would at least beat out weaker projectile and maybe level 3 has a some transcendent property to it so only parrying beats it, not simply smacking it with a jab.

That one suggestion below about the jump kick out of f-special having more range I agree with. Not sure if you'd agree or think it's fine as is, but if you wanted to make it disjointed or something for more range while keeping the visuals matching the hitbox, you could add her sparkly cloud vfx to the kick like f-strong and u-strong.

Still been playing her since release and I have some suggestions utility wise. For D-special I was thinking it should have more active use outside of just charging her bar; This one you probably won't do since it seems like your intent is for it to be unsafe animation wise, but I was thinking the wave could be disjointed hitbox you use in combat. If not that another idea I had was if you use d-special while you had 3 bars she would burn all three in a big circular quick blast instead of the move just not working anymore.It would be a good kill option. The animation could be a smaller version of the final strong or a bigger version of the recovery animation wave d-special has.
