Ooooooffff. I think you need to make a lite version of this mod for the "sweet spot" effect. It's hard defending even as a rich unified empire.

It depends on the overhaul. This mod modifies a script. Specifically phar_sea_peoples_invasion.lua script.

It's even more bloated. The AI will spawn many full stacks at once in later stages.

LOVE the idea of this mod! Quick question: does it roughly mirror the spawns from Legacy Pharaoh? I found Legacy to have an amazing apocalypse feeling. Or is this even more?

I don't think you can't use the older script, because they updated it to fit in the general scheme of the game, therefore you could experience crash.
Also, the game needs a huge patch ASAP. I can't do nothing else to make it work. Sorry if you encounter any bug, but is a code thing the developers should fix.

I think the script in Dynasties is not working properly. The game only deploys one of the factions for each invasion regions and only the first wave. The other waves and factions never appear. I tried your mod also and I have the same issue. Could be possible use the legacy script to solve this? Also some values like random turns, horde budget and others doesn't work properly. Maybe it's only my problem, so i have to ask. Thanks.

Is not. This modifies scripts, therefore you need a new campaign in order to make effect.

Yeah I like the premise but that's too much. A good idea would be nerfing the quality of the units because it's kinda silly that nomadic raiders spawn with full armies of heavily armoured units of the best quality.

Each sea people an nomad faction has four stages of invasion. The first wave starts about 30 turns in, then the other follow up. Each wave has 4, 6, 8 and 10 stacks.

Yeah, I went too far with it. I like the extreme chaotic apocalypse that unleashes tho. But you can edit the mod with easy. Beware, you will need o start a new campaign each time you modify it. It's a campaign script after all.

Since you asked for feedback, I am playing Taurest and the lower egypt got fully occupied before the wave 8 stacks. But the Libu tribes alone are more annoying to deal than 4 sea people factions since they spawn on dungul oasis province where 2 bronze mines exist and the only way to deal with them is park 2/3 armies, bribe them off to declare war on another faction or gift them a province if you are at war with them.

Go to the mod location and open it with rpfm. Just scroll down until you reach de names of the invaders and their armies (peleset, shekelesh, ahlamu, etc) and edit the number of armies and quantity per stack as you wish.

There's like four stages in invasions in-game: firts one 30 turns in and the other ones are "waves" after the original. I didn't want to edit turn times because I don't want to mess with scripts too much, as I'm not good at coding.
BUT, If you want to edit yourself the file, go ahead. I created this mod experimenting by myself.

Maybe you are right, sometimes all like playing long,but 200 turns are usually enough for me. All in all i miss the old invasion in the previous game. It was OK for me

I think the invasion after the turn 30 its ok, In turn 100 the campaing is almost complete and you are to strong.
This is a great mod and the other one wich change the pillar of civilization debuff...
I have an idea, i see in the campaing when the sea people or nomad take a center cult (The pilar of civilization cities) and they grow up, they actually help to convert to a prosperty era adding points.

The idea is that if the sea people and nomad take a center cult they do not add prosperity points, idk if this is possible but this would help to enter to crisis era

I have a great camping with Ugarit with this mod and his complement.

I think the main problem is not just the stacks but that the invasion happens too early (turn 25 if im not mistaking, and ends at turn 140) The ideal invasion for me would be turn 100 to turn 200. 100 turns of bloodthirsty seafaring marauders its enough.
And way would they attack so early? First they wait to empires grow fat and large and than attack :)

The first wave should be just some scouting party with 2-3 stacks with 10 basic units. The later ones 4-5 stacks with tier 3 medium units 12-15 unit per army. And the last late game invasion is 8 stacks 15-20 units tier 5 and the best units they factions can offer. Same goes for the nomads but its important that they attack everyone not just focus on the player.
But that just my opinion, great mod thanks for your work !

They trigger normally, I didn't touch the turns, only the amount of troops, so they chould appear like always.

Do the invasions still trigger on turn 30? Or do they trigger later in the campaign like the major ones did pre-Dynasties (more like Chaos/Attila invasion)?

Haven't tried your mod as I don't want the invasions to be too hardcore so that the game is centered around them too much, but they were definitely better in original pharaoh than in expansion, with that I agree.

@Ganon Cannon It should. It only touches script values. I think the other person you play with should have it enable tho. I never play coop, but I think you both have to have the same mods.
