@Cmdr. DoomForge: Back then when I made the mod, it didn't matter for that particular sound to still appear, no matter if the thrusters were on or off.

While I get the premise behind the utility provided by that, maybe have the engines shut off when they dock? I'd imagine the same can be applied to landing gears too, but what I have taken to doing is rigging up an event controller set to turn off thrusters while switching any batteries and storage tanks to recharge and stockpile based on connector status.

Just this little bit of prep work can save a lot of time and hassle down the road when playing.
