Current Skipshields ignore slower projectiles like Rockets and Grenades, so there's clearly a flag for them. Could make it a shield that blocks at least one of those, perhaps, to give the illusion of shooting them down?
Just a random idea, hopefully it points you in the right direction.
I get this error when using this mod with SOS2, I also use CE. The turret does not draw properly and it just has some base texture.

Or the other one requires this, and it gives a 0 mood effect that says “we built a turret that took more work than the CIWS, and it’s weak!”
Also any plans to make it attack motors and drop pods one day?
