I'm going to take a blind guess on what placebo does and feel free to tell me how close or far from being correct I am. it's effect is either slightly increases the chance of getting rare cards in combat rewards and transforms, when you gain a random amount of gold your more likely to get around the max amount possible, or slightly increased chance of getting uncommon relic's and rare relics showing up from combats/events/chests.

maybe there can be a way to upgrade it, a bit like how people "feel" better, and in this case it could give +1 Temp Hp at the start of each battle :)
