I think it'd look so much better without the moon, or maybe changing the way the moon appears because it looks a little strange

Gives me Hellstar Remina vibes.

It might be steam compression, but this effect looks super muddy and it's hard to see the details clearly. Plus the color scheme might be too similar to a RED effect, if you were to keep the color I think a team color would work better. Overall though this effect has a lot of potential!

@Parker/Litau - thanks for the feedback! I'll play around with the moon a bit to see what can be done to make it always present without breaking the "approaching" illusion- part of the reason why it disappears is to reset its radius scale and positioning in the sky. The moon should have eyes already- it's just very faint due to me blending the alpha of the sprite. My first versions of the moon had a face, but it ended up looking weird from the angle I had it so I scrapped it and just gave it eyes.

@Zeugziumy - glad it came out spooky enough haha

That animated thumbnail is going to haunt me forever.

give the moon a face and yeah make it always present

@AdmiralWings - thanks! The rattling is a slight bug on the fact that the moon will always face the hat no matter where it spawns. I've thought this to be a feature I guess since it seems to add the an "quake"-like effect as it approaches

Looks incredible, there appears to be a slight rattling on the moon though?
