Livonia is a historical region, there is no place on a map called Livonia (or Livland) in the modern era including WW1/WW2. The fictional country of Livonia in Armaverse is a made-up country that only uses the name Livonia (and some inspirations/background) but is not geographically linked to the real historical region. Any translation does not need to be based on the real historical region.

Right, but I made this decision in consultation with at least 2 Germans I know, so for the time being it remains.

Should also be noted that the Livonia of Arma 3 isn't in the same location as Livonia in real life.

I do get that, but the name of the actual region of Livonia (the one in the Baltics) is called Livland.

@Perkomobil At the time I named the faction, as far as I could tell, the German version of the game referred to it as "Livonia", so I'll be keeping that name consistent for the time being.
