I understand why people do not like pet items, but at the same time, there's an audience of people that do adore them just as much. It's a unique animal that feels appropriate for Scout and his personality, as well as appealing to people who own ferrets & weasels.
There's indeed an audience for this stuff, as much as there's an audience for the other content available.
