@leftbehind

(1) Feathers are only for signals on the left side currently, though there are regular signal models on the right side.

(2) No simulated difference between standard and automatic.
On the real railway auto signals are not controlled by the signaller and have a unique white box and black line on their identity plate. They are generally used for stretches of open track.
Standard signals are manually controlled by the signaller and are used to at stations, in depots, and to protect junctions and point work.

Are the signals with feather indicators only for left hand of track?

Also, what's difference between standard signal (eg. 4A) and auto signal (eg. 4C)?

These don't seem to work for me unfortunately

Not as yet, I'm still working on those.

Does this mod come with a gantry just like Killakanz's UK Light Signals mod?
jmwbaxter 3 Mar @ 1:39am
It can be seen as similar, but it does have much improved detail, functionality and visuals.
Owenjedi5000 2 Mar @ 5:46am
Is this similar to Killakanz's UK Light signals mod?

Absolutely fine Closet_Hunter, go for it! :)

Hi StabbedBadger - wanted to reach out, as I've been working on a script mod-to-mod that implements the better signal mod (https://www.transportfever.net/filebase/entry/7583-better-signals/) that essentially makes signalling real (i.e. the signals know the state of the following ones - with your signals.

I've scripted it to only reference your files, and have your mode as a required item - but wanted to reach out and check if that was ok with you before I did anything else!

They are available from 1925 onwards.

What year do the signals become available?

Love the mod adds lots to the game. Would love to see the route feathering indicators finished, that's the only complaint.

TortoisePageant 10 Jul, 2024 @ 12:33am
These are fantastic! Thank you so much!

I might consider it. I was thinking about doing some PRR railroad signals
CarolinaSeeker94 6 Jul, 2024 @ 10:47am
You should make a Dwarf signals for the US. These look great.

Thanks.

New update up which includes additional types such as limited aspect, banner repeater and additional variations for the feather signals. I've also adjusted the iconography used to show a black background for all signals that are placed on the left-side and white background for all signals that are placed on the right.
StabbedBadger  [author] 5 Jul, 2024 @ 7:57am
@MiniMashaMonster, they unlock in 1925
mongolteiko 5 Jul, 2024 @ 5:55am
The other thing [just as a pointer], with the route indicators, the 'feather' comes off first, then the aspect of the signal.
Just tested some out now and am liking what I so so far! Well done!
MiniMashaMonster 5 Jul, 2024 @ 5:51am
When do they unlock?
StabbedBadger  [author] 5 Jul, 2024 @ 2:42am
No problem on those, mongolteiko. Will be up later today. I am currently working on banner repeaters but co-actors I was holding off on doing until I get to the platform variants as that's the only purpose I can think of for them.
mongolteiko 5 Jul, 2024 @ 2:21am
Oh and banner repeater/co-acting signals too? lol
mongolteiko 5 Jul, 2024 @ 2:21am
Can you do a L = left, R = right hand signal in the signal icon to find them easier?
Also can you do a red/yellow 2 aspect signal [for dead end station with or without position light signal on a post and later gantry]? Thanks. Great work [speaking as a former driver].
Hxrvxii 4 Jul, 2024 @ 7:14pm
Route indicators are fantastic. I have noticed some slight clipping with the light elements whilst close up, other than that this is fantastic!
mongolteiko 4 Jul, 2024 @ 3:44pm
Looks very interesting especially love the route indicators variants.
Thanks.
