Report a translation problem
you built the regular cube.For me the the white surface was overwhelming and I'm not sure if the intended way included flying to the end of the laser .

It didn't affect the playthrough a lot, but google translates "make sure to jump when you fling" as "be sure to jump when you throw" for my and some other languages, so I confused this line with some unknown way of cube tossing. Don't know how important it is, but decided to mention.
I did that initially, because I was stumped and clutching at straws, but knew it must be wrong.
@bullfrog I was wondering if anyone would find the silly method. It would be easy to prevent, but not without sacrificing some aesthetic simplicity, so I decided to leave it. Looks like you found the intended solution in the end; good work!
And out of interest, here’s what I did originally: silly alternative method ! I suppose that could be prevented, but I'm really not sure if it's worth it.
