Thanks ! I am working on a new version, so any feedback and suggestions are welcome.
But current mod will be preserved "as-is"
This one is just a template for modders, actual faction packs and XFP system are available through collections at main mod page.
You'd only want this mod as a starting point to create your own faction pack - so, version mismatch is irrelevant.

All Xavorion mods should be working with current game version,

actually ai uses turret bases but no turretdesigns (and only the normal block ones, not edged)
Nope, Xsotan did not receive faction packs. They are left as in base game - too many missions, events, and DLC that could break from that.
Not really, game just picks turret locations, and scales guns to tiny size if needed to fit.
We don't have a chance to see guns on NPCs anyway
Possible, yes. But coding that would be a difficult challenge
