@RRCaul the two are very interconnected mechanic-wise. Keeping them separate would be a tremendous pain in the ass and would require making dozens of work arounds, not to mention the hassle of updating two different workshop pages

Little confused on why what seems to me can be two separate mods are combined here? Would it not make more sense to keep this mod as a Canada revamp, and create a new one specifically for Germany?

I was however able to trigger the post-unification election (at least the normal with Romney against Kamala) by triggering event.golden_gate_usa.20 via the console.

Though there's also the issue that I didn't get the option to restore old state names to the states renamed by the APC via their Old Guard path as it's the norm for every unifier, including Canada in RWRR.

@ChairmanJoe I recently played the Golden Gate League submod and found two issues. I didn't get a decision to integrate Utah (or the game didn't register that I already annexed it via the GGL tree and core it properly), so I couldn't unite the US without using decision.nochecks.

I also didn't get the pre-election events where the DRUL is set up, Romney becomes a candidate, debates Kamala and the election itself without firing them manully via the console.

Any clue on how to force Der Bruderkrieg and the other foreign policy options, Loyal Soldier of Communism and Moving on from Moscow, to happen?

So you have to defeat the pact before you form proced with the Union? Oh and it´s neighbours also remained socialist (but left the pact). Even after I defeated Belgium and puppeted them I couldn´t proceed in the tree, because "Western Europe is free from communism" wasn´t checked. I had to attack and puppet them too. Is than also intentional?

Is Belgium meant to remain in the Warsaw pact, when you take the "Isolate Belgium focus"? France, the Netherlands and Luxembourg leave the pact, but not Belgium.

Theres a bug with the national Spirit "A Kaiserreich Stuck between World" when you go down the right path with Georg Friedrich. It doesn't dissapear and also doesn't get replaced by the focus "Glory to the old and the new" (btw you can't do this focus bc the requirements are not met, I had to use a command).
