I found this in exploration! Nice big terminal, very spacious. I could see a lot of ships docking and business happening here. :loss:

I think DX11 broke the skybox, it's called "Earthlike planet atmosphere"

there are a thousand mods that come up when you search on skyboxes mod you were talking about .. can you provide a link to the mod you use for it?

Well, it does work on a Station, just don't Convert to Ship to move it, or it'll blow up.

I tried to use this system, but unless you make your creation as a station, the whole construction with pistons is very unstable, causing the connected ship to wobble. In the end, i have always been getting my mothership getting the through-out hole with my drill ship, that was shot like an arrow.

So, actually, i cannot recommend you to use pistons even for the simple tasks until they are fixed.

I wired up the sensors to detect ships and automatically extend the docking boom, then draw you in after about 2 minutes. This should removed the need to come too close to the station when docking, where it might get damaged by the ships' thrusters.

Wow, thanks! :)

I found your ship during exploration mode. Congrats on making it into the game! Here is a snapshot of the blue-print that I captured:

It was meant to extend the docking pistons when a ship comes close to prevent the engine blast, but I never got around to wiring the sensors for that.

Unfortunatelly, your station design does not suggest thruster damage option.
So, i believe, the large ships docking/undocking process may damage it heavily.

dont care that is a work in progress, i love this station. i love the retractable connectors btw.

I found that unless taking inspiration from elsewhere, it's pretty hard to build a good looking and unique ship. When going purely for functionality and cost-effectiveness, my ships tend to look like cubes.

this thing looks awesome building a small base station but i always mess up making fighters they always come out all blocky
