I find the mod enjoyable, my only issues is the incredible long casting time on some of the abilities. Example of this is summon wolves(feels kinda long for such a minor summon), big spider, demon book, scarecrow and manticore. Other than that I really enjoy this mod. Has become a part of my main mods. Running the chicken summon with cooldown reduction and targeted spells quickly becomes a massive, love it.

The gathering action gives summoning experience. Searching for berries and firewood leveled me up pretty fast...

summon manticore was changed the duration 1800 to 600.
also acid spit was replaced with sprint and rend.

Acid spit has no cooldown...so it just tries and spam acid spit without engaging. I deleted acid spit and replaced with poisonous bite and furious attack.

Its was the cooldown. The first thing to check was lowering the cd from 1800 to 50. The game engine wont tolerate 1800.

However, another problem has arisen. The manticore AI is not set up correctly. Ive used it 5 times now and it will simply *never* engage on anything..In point of fact, it flees battle as fast as it can.

Yes, the duration can be lengthened with an amplifier.
However, it only has a duration of 2-3 seconds (lol).

Manticore summoning is buggy? I'll look into it a bit. If I can fix it, I will.

Hiya! So...Summon Manticore seems to keep going on cooldown for no discernible reason that im able to see via the files. If you could examine the code to figure a fix, could you paste it here? I can input any change manually. Thank you!

Is there a way to increase duration of some of the summons? Can I just change/modify the 'duration' in the .json files under the /abilities folder without it crashing the game?

Red Ivy steps on floromancer a bit too much. Would be better if they just made 2 weak attacks per Ivy against targets within one square

Ironically that's basically what I'm using this mod for lmao. It's been a good stand-in for necromancy. Appreciate the work and thank you for making some sort of summoning skill for us to play with in the meanwhile:cozybethesda:

Undead should be able to be summoned by the necromancy that will be added in the future, so I have refrained from doing so in this mod.

collecting resources mean Gatharing the spots where you can get food that are even on the map. like banana trees, apple trees, fruit bushes etc...
not includes mine minerals, harvest crops, fising, craft something, etc...
So I would think that casting spells would be a better way to gain exp.

What resources are you meaning here? I am not trying to be rude just curious. Because if its ALL then it will level way too fast imho. But if its like magical items? Then its fine I think lol

However, I don't think there is that much difference in experience gain time compared to the other 2 magic skill trees.(pyro and flower )

- I've checked the Electromancy's research and seems some as my mod's one so maybe okay...? *book of Summoning increase only one of max potential.

I feel like the summoning skill could be an interesting "very powerful" tree, ya you need to summon things to get it leveled which takes awhile but you are also getting summons which take aggro.

Just my two cents, making it too easy to level would be a bit much. What the research mod does is increase potential (max level of a skill) not the actual skill itself. Me personally I would recommend reversing that change, but yet again have not tried this mod so dont know for sure.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to add compatibility with that mod,
so I have added an alternative solution!

1.added leaning book to summoning level 9(cool time is 1 day)
2.Newly, you can gain experience in summoning skill by collecting resources.

It adds books to level up skills, time consuming but it allows you to not have to hunt for trainers which is nice
