so I'm getting about 15 red errors when I activate the mod and sort it into the proper position then relaunch the game should be easy to reproduce.

ok, nuked the save anyway out of shame when I realized the thing that was 'preventing' me from using most of the space I wanted to use could go down in just a few punches.

Getting log spam when an insector has the stinger mutations, but it's too long to post here.

I like the idea but the sheer amount is a bit overwhelming. Also there is some overlap with the genelines from Alpha Animals black genelines.
Perhaps if they were unlocked from their own pherecores similar to techprints.

Turns out there is an issue in 1.6. Somehow, the VIE_SunlightSensitivity_Major ThoughtDef is being applied to all pawns, regardless of their geneline.

@HEIDRUN I don't have time to test this mod recently, but I think you can use it directly because it's pure XML,as long as the pre mod is available, it can work

No, i mean like the ability to do things like cocoon hosts that have been implanted with an offspring, that way they can heal from wounds and are restrained. Or a hive mind intelligence kind of gene, things like that.

@Dog_Guarada I think there may have been some kind of conflict, and when I have time, I will rewrite this skill for better compatibility (of course, this would require re evolution to cover the new skill)

I tested in a Dev Quicktest colony, the same conflict happens, not sure why but it looks to have something to do with anything that you should be able to aim at being not considered a object or something like that i guess

@Dog_Guarada It sounds like some kind of conflict has occurred. If only one individual is like this, how about trying to mutate into other genes first and then revert back?

having a weird bug with the stinger mutation/deep groove spine, when i try to use the ability i just cannot select anything and i can't move my camera, the only ability that works is the one where it shoots out a barrage of it

2024/10/28 修改了虫草工蜂能力,减少红字问题
另外确定了和阿尔法基因一同开启后刺蛇能力可以无限释放的原因,:lunar2019crylaughingpig:是因为阿尔法基因启用了ve框架的MVCF.dll的原因,不过暂时不知道怎么兼容,我再研究一阵,实在不行只能重写刺蛇能力了

@kearril :steamfacepalm:这个是语法错误,主要是不会dll我还真没法修……因为我用了2个相同的组件移除了2个不同的hediff……正常来说应该是不影响游戏的

Perhaps I haven't planned the subsequent updates yet, but due to the significant degradation of VRE Insect itself with strong side effects, I haven't figured out how to add more degradation while maintaining balance as much as possible

This.. is a must have addon to the mod, i'd say. I'd agree with a few other people in the comments, that a full list of genes would be nice - but from what I already see, this adds a lot more variety to our available options.

Can I make a small request that, with future additions, you add more Degrades to the mod? The base mod has too few to really stack the possible benefits; and, if you'd consider non-conflicting ones that stack (such as three different manipulation/movement/consciousness dampeners), i'd personally be greatly appreciative.
