Yeah I wanted to avoid having to reboot the server entirely since it's a pain to manage, when you have hundreds of mods sometimes you have to reboot 3 times in an hour
What you're asking is not possible in Project Zomboid. The LUA code has to be reloaded in it's entirety. This mod seems to be a lightweight counterpart to Udderly Up To Date, which will ping your players before restart/update.
From what I can read, it's that, but without the ping? Correct me if wrong.
Because I don't want players to be kicked out of the server every time there is a mod update, I would like the mod to update while the server is running and player don't feel anything happening

and i have the .ini file set like this:
Mods=WorkshopUpdate;ServerAlertFix;SnakeUtilsPack; etc etc
WorkshopItems=3269118316;3373262658;etc etc.
Other than my weird issue mod works
"Steamnetworkingsockets: trying to close socket support, but we still have sockets open!"
and then a Threadtools error saying
"Assertion Failed: Illegal termination of worker thread"
with two different thread names, is this something I did wrong on my end or is there something wrong with my server maybe?

You are wrong, I use it myself, it does not delay the server in any way
When it finds an update then it displays a message on the Server. Before restarting the Server it forces a save. As for how long it takes to restart the Server, it really depends on the Server.
Exactly, this Mod updates other mods when the Server is active. Of course it is a safe mod, it is not a mod that will change entire PZ Servers hehe. Yes, it refreshes Lua, or does the Server hang? Honestly, I did not feel it on my Server.
How does it work and how is it safe for the server?
Is it a lua refresh where the server will freeze for a few seconds? I'm genuinely curious
