Honestly, god bless. There's a lack of good mods in this workshop which is filled to the brim with some gooner shit with no meaningful qualities to it. Now that i sifted through the pack and got a good luck at it, i can really say that this got me back into playing L4D2 again lol

You should stick to the original N-pack or it's google drive version for the best first experience. "Redux" doesn't mean better, it isn't made or balanced by me, it's a Nightmare copycat one of my contributors is working on atm. It needs a lot of time to fully bake before it's presentable.

after playing FEAR pack its' good as well what only lack is music for SI but i grabbed some from NIGHTMARE modpacks for fit. still i'll stick the good NIGHTMARE pack not redux(looks complicated to setup but idk maybe its' just me and i prefer simple scripts and thats it) and to be honest its already tactical horror enough for me and i dont mind playing vanilla or terror strike mods since i'm already fed up with High Quality MW weapons and weird walk animations but not all of them i pick ones that are aesthetics and simple like default valves' animations and thankfully there is also Ready Or Not(i prefer that than today's MW) mods. so yeah, sorry if i talked too much but for real i enjoyed it too much as well.

i was browsing around workshop daily and i found it nothing but repetitive addons that are popular or what not. suddenly it came to my mind, my friends recommended me to try out NIGHTMARE modpacks(but there is another called Redux) then i gave it a try and i enjoyed it! dark, creepy and challenging. played both vanilla and custom campaigns. and did mix match modded weapons, either go tactical or go crazy like Trepang or Fear playstyle or even classic NMRIH, sometimes i feel frustrated when failing or dying a lot but it was worth it. and anyway good job making that mods and compiling mod pack. I hope you make more in the future.

everything is good until howler and mute char and mute si music what the fack is that, invisible zombie is fking nonsene and they can one hit people some time that thing block the way, mute character ? character dialoge is one of the part make l4d great but with this mod they can even scream for help make people become dick head when some one need help atlest let them scream up, mute si music si music let u know what type of enemy u will face it not make the mod less scary with that mute si music mod it not boring player in solo mode but multiplayer is a mess. end this mod good at solo play cause u can remove some nonsene mod to play with out crash but multiplay is a mess

I like this mod a lot, I think it builds good atmosphere and I like how it works on custom maps too. Even if it doesn't create the best results on some custom maps, still a very nice feature. Also side comment here I really appreciate those who make mods for any game that there is, since to me making your own mods takes a lot. With how it can just take a long time to even make one mod, along with how learning how to make mods in first place takes a good amount of time. So thank you very much for this mod because I could never make this myself. Also another side comment to people making jokes about being unemployed, your are not funny. Ah, it's working fine for you then. I changed some color corrections in the recent update to something more lite in tone basically.

default brightness is the way to go, the screenshots is exactly what you get.

Just reinstall the whole game. Steam doesn't actually fully uninstall it through your library, you have to also go and delete the entire Left 4 Dead 2 folder from Steam\steamapps\common, unsub from all mods too.

just deleted every single mod and launch parameters (wdym config? like keybinds?), ive been testing everything on singleplayer, im thinking on uninstalling and re-installing l4d2 at this point, i even tried unpacking the vpk and manually setting the cc but didnt work either

apparently you're doing something wrong then, because everything is working fine. Delete every single mod, config, launch options, and make sure you're hosting a local server or single player.

you corrupted your game files by the sounds of it, verify integrity or something

both l4d1 and l4d2 look amazing with this addon but for some reason the color correction stopped working for me on the parish, swamps campaigns, same thing happens on some specific chapters too, like the mall & atrium and the first two hard rain chapters.
It used to work perfectly before but i think it stopped doing so ever since i did "snd_rebuildaudiocache" (which for some reason fixed multiple addons that weren't related to audio), is there any fix?
