Custom ware, randomized colors, albedo. This one does EVERYTHING.

Interestingly, Ghoul Blaster doesn't disable blood but rather turns it green to match the custom wear. Replacing or disabling the blood is sadly not an option with the base we used, so we would have unfortunately needed to make a custom base to do so, which fell outside the scope of this project.

That said, there are plenty of Battle Scarred seeds that have fairly little blood, and some people genuinely would like a lot of blood on their gold.

the custom wear should disable blood like on the ghoul blaster, would be bad to have a cool gun covered with gold but then its also covered with blood everywhere

it feels weird that most of the weapon is this moldy old thing but then there is just gold parts

Neat wall paint. I think the gold's saturation is fine, though it a tiny adjustment with it could help a bit.

I actually really like the wood gradient, though it could be better. I also agree that the gold is too saturated.

Wear should give the weapon more gold

Damn hippo at the same time, ggs

By making it less saturated! If you notice with a lot of other skins and warpaints, a lot of them that include a gold like texture such as top shelf have very muted gold, the problem with this one is that there is TOO much of that gold and too much of the scratches, which makes it look off when it gets more and more used, if it there were less scratches and more the weapon's front side being turned into gold, i find that it would be a lot better. If you can't do that though, try muting the gold.

Tone it down by making it look less gold and more brass, kind of like what saccharine striped has.

The gradient on this also just feels really unnecessary, the black and white colors are really the only ones that I think look good both with the wood texture its are applied to and with the other textures on the warpaint.

How do you tone down gold?
Endi 27 May, 2024 @ 4:38am
I really like the idea for this one, but i do have to say that the gold feels a bit too bright with the scratches, i think if you made it a bit more toned down at some parts, it will help it a lot. The other thing i find a bit unnecessary is honestly the wood, the way it changes sometimes doesn't really fit the aesthetic of it all too wel, the brighter ones especially. Still, it is overall very decently made! Good job!

the examples you see without scratches are the factory new.

no extra wear has been placed on factory new, the examples you see with scratches are other wear tiers to showcase the custom wear which is the central point of the war paint

poor mans aussie, but surprisingly you kinda pulled it off, it looks really nice i just hope that those scratches arent on the factory new version
