Just updated it, so it should now work properly with the latest update. And yes, you can install it mid game :steamthumbsup:

@punch Yeah, I guess it's not one of the most interesting areas in the game xD However, it's strange; when I first went through the files, it seemed like Hudson Bay was originally planned to be open, but it was set as impassable for some reason. By simply removing the impassable and lake modifiers, the name "Hudson Bay" popped up along with a corresponding sea node.

...I won't lie, it never occurred to me that they weren't already open and now that I know, it's *really* weird this isn't in base game. Thanks for the mod!

Would it be possible to incorporate this mod into a Canadian Flavour Mod I'm working on, you would be creadited of course but if you don't want that then don't worry all good, good job

@sovietkdog Yeah that would be cool. Not sure if it's possible or not though since I'm totally new to this modding thing, but it's an intriguing idea.

is it possible to have these ports, blocked by a state trait, that like limits the number of ports to zero, and then is removed when you complete a polar experdition or something? that would be really cool,

@theanswerisme Thx :D Yeah I agree!

Very good. And frankly, their should be ports on the Great Lakes too. It's not an accident that some of the biggest port cities in the country are in the Midwest, on the lakes.
