is possible to hide materials that i don't have? i remember it being that way, i haven't used this mod yet so i'm just asking for the sake of it, i don't know if a mod from the big list i have is conflicting or smth

@Hypersapien I wanted to do that early on, but iirc the color in the text field is static so changing the color on one label changes them all

This is a great mod. I have one suggestion. If there isn't enough material to make the item you're looking at, can you display the numbers in red?

How to make it show the materials that I have 0 of? For example, I have no gold and it just doesn’t list golden table as an option. I want it to show 0/75 like in the screenshot.

Does the UI auto-scale to large numbers? I tend to accumulate huge amounts of resources in the late game, and I would hate for that to ruin this cool mod because it can't handle stuff like 600,000 units of silver or something.

@Lil Monkeh: There are soooo many hugely popular mods out there that add what should be vanilla functionality, it's frankly embarrassing for Tynan, and I just don't get why he's so slow in adopting them into the base game. Pretty sure most of the mod creators would be thrilled to be recognized this way. Alas, all we can do is hope for future updates.

One thing I would like to see would be an option to also display the maximum number of items that can be constructed, perhaps in brackets like "300/75 (4) Wooden butcher table" for instance

Would it be rude to request an option to have the numbers appear after the object name?
Something about the numbers being first cause my brain to blank out and takes me twice as long to find the material I'm looking for.

The amount of gold or silver needed to build an object is displayed in the same amount as other materials, although gold or silver needs 10 times more

@BustedPretext looks like steam didn't update the mod for me yesterday but it has now. I'm not getting the error anymore with those floors but it doesn't show the material count for them but it does for other things.

Hey Busted, for me at least it was vanilla wall, granite in Nautian, after reading these comments I tested without this mod and the crash's stopped, I have a huge mod list though so its likely thatch the issue

@Senacharim that’s a great idea. I looked into label colors and it seems that value is shared between all menu options. Giving each option a different color would be a bigger undertaking unfortunately

@krzarb I tried to reproduce with the mods listed in that trace but was unable. I did find a few more places to check for null references so an update will be coming soonish

Any chance of a "fewer numbers" setting?

I'm imaging something like 'white text' for 'can build', super white text for 'can build alot' and dark gray text for 'cannot build with this material, may 'almost black gray' for 'you have none of this material'.

I'm having an issue where with certain objects in the build menus, the material popup wont come up. Walls for instances, I can build a duplicate wall of something I already have but I can't build a new wall from the structure menu as the material menu just doesn't come up.

Hi, I've had a weird error where I was unable to place and structures or buildings. When I enabled dev mode the error thrown seemed to reference this mod and sure enough, when this mod was disabled I was able to build again. For what it's worth this mod has been working really well for me until now.

@JunoCat I think the newer versions of the game mostly remove the issue of there being too many different leather types but still I appreciate the suggestion.

@BustedPretext there is an issue with your mod and Survival Expanded - Production Spots . I couldn't open the fly-out menu to place anything. Occasionally the game crashed when I tried to pick a fabric for an armchair. My GUESS is that it has something to do with the 'free' price of spots behind the fly-out menu. Removing your absolute fantastic mod solved the issue, too bad such things need to be modded it instead of being vanilla. Keep up your brilliant work!

@#6 Was that after yesterday's update? If so, maybe you can post your mod list and I can try to reproduce with that. I initially did playthrough of 45 hours without issues before uploading the first version. So I'm guessing its just not playing nice with some other mods
