Solved the tab not showing issue I reported last year. Stopped using this mod for a while but tried again over the holiday. The window height in the gui file is too large for my monitor at 1920x1080.

The window for this mod overlays the main mod window and is too high.

I lowered the height value on line 5 to 990 and the tab appears without any damage to the main window and the salve market works fine.

@swerdlock After some testing i have been unable to replicate your bug. My market's slave tab was always accessible to me. I don't know what might be causing the issue for you, could be another mod that changes slaves, or it could be that your monitor isn't able to display the bottom of the market tab, meaning selecting the slave tab is impossible/not even visible.

If the first, it may be some conflict arose and changed some file despite a mod being disabled. Could be you have corrupted game files and need to fix that.

If the second issue, i admit i don't know how to shrink the size depending on your screen. I know you can try different screen options from settings, maybe mess around with them and see if that fixes the issue.

Other then those, i don't know what else could be causing the issue. I was unable to replicate it. I am sorry if my advice doesn't help any, worst case scenario is just disable this mod, and any others that are causing the issues.

@gauntlet its an interesting idea. I guess it might make since that others might not want to buy or sell certain resources. I would love to create a menu on startup that you would be able to select what resources you can buy and sell, but that level of modding is way above me for right now. The quick solution would be to just add more mods that remove "a,b, or c" resources, etc. (a,b, and c = whatever resource you might be playing with.) But i want to avoid that as that would require me publishing like at least 5 more mods, and that just feels like a bad solution.

I think i will dig into how other mods like giga work their startup selection screens and see if i can't learn and make something similar. Will take me a long time to do that, as i have learned the economy is rather complicated because of the galactic market that gets created later from the community in game. Thanks for your input and giving me some direction to pursue for my mods!

@swerdlock let me do some digging and see if i can figure out what i screwed up, i never use slaves, so never thought to test that. Might take some time to figure out and test. Will update with another post on if i can replicate it and find the issue. thanks!

Like the idea, but it hides the slave market tab when used with the other mods in the set.

I tried without any other mods and in different load orders with no success.

Just my 2 cents but this should just be rolled into GME... and keep this as a separate mod for those who don't want to sell artifacts or such via GME

it overwrites the market file from UI Dynamic, so needs to load under UI Dynamic. As for GME, GME needs to load below gigastructures and acot, if you use them. If you don't use them and don't have any other mods that affect 00_strategic_resources.txt file then its load order doesn't matter. For me personally i usually load GME above UI Dynamic.

But make sure this mod load under UI Dynamic. Hope that helps.

So under UI Dynamic & above GME ?
