Technically it can be, but perhaps Nomads can not be hold them because of it is too massive (it means the volume and gameplay affects).
And I think the MEGAHAULER is way too severely affects in-game balances, therefore I set it way too hard to find out or capture it.
(the way to earn Cats on Kenshi will be relatively easy if the player knows the how to do it.)
The reasons of above, I set the MOD like this. I think it might be bothering some players, but I'm sure it is relatively-optimal for in-game balances at least for now. Sorry!
Thank you too! I really appreciate it.
Ah, really thanks for confirming it!
MEGAHAULERs are now can be spawned with the 100% of certainty, at where the King Gorillo stayed in. (GAME IMPORTS NEEDED)
It means, this makes King Gorillo hunting is more difficult so far.
Good luck.
This version is UN-TESTED. none to confirmed to spawn these at.
So if you have an issue or something, please let me know.
because of this species is severely overwhelming for in-game balances, I set the spawn chance to extremely low. even in-game testing, I took the time for more than 6 hours.
In my experience, The Eye, Deadlands and The Crags are recommed place to hunt. it is relatively easier (even it is extremely low chance tho) to find.
I think it is visually, not technical issue. At least, unless Kenshi modified game mechanics related to throwing animals into a cage.
I will inspect what is going on, some day.
Thanks for reporting.
Aha. Anyway, I'm glad the issue has been resolved.
Ah, the megareprogrammer is an unique item. which means you may need to import your save files.
Technically, the location Scraphouse sells it.
Probably, It will be worked by the following steps shown below:
Step1:
Throw MEGAHAULER in a cage.
Step2:
Select 'TALK TO' against the captured MEGAHAULER by holding an item 'MEGAREPROGRAMMER'.
Step3:
Done.
Perhaps, it may be considered that due to some external factor makes preventing it from working.
It might be inspected why it will happen.
MEGAHAULERs are now can be recruitable with same procedure of TameBeasties by using an unique items sold on somewhere skeleton inhabits.

I partly agree your opinion,
Tb are sometimes become something like cheat or shortcut, If you are taming huge or strong animals, in-my-opinion.
the way to tame them with similar procedure to RP or the another thing you mentioned, that sounds interesting.
Perhaps in the future, If I have a time for working on it and ideas, "some of ways to tame them" will be added.
Anyway, Thank you for the advice and giving me the info.
Another example is 'Scarier Security Spiders'. That mod has a unique Butcher Spider that can only be recruited if you have a card that a mini boss has at their inventory.
And since I'm a sort of a completionist, If I use Tb, i would feel like I'm missing stuff If I don't tame the unique beasts.
The procedure will probably be similar to TameB's tho...
No.
Just in my curiosity, If you could, tell me a reasons, why are you trying to tame them without subscribing TameB.
Perhaps, is there something you don't like on TameB?
(such as features, components, and dialogue, etc...)
