@lucasbobo22 I would think so, if the age counter goes up faster. It can get triggered only on a birthday, though.

@TamTroll Calculations are based on the lifespan of the pawn, so it should be triggered earlier in creatures with a shorter lifespan. I say "should" because I don't know how this gene works and how the game processes it internally. It could be that it isn't taken into account for some reason.

is this designed with shorter lifespans in mind?

I've got pawns with the "short lifespan" gene from More Genes, so i think they're supposed to live around 40-ish or so, but I've got pawns in their late 50's who still haven't contracted Mortality.

Am i just getting lucky / unlucky? or is the effect only going to trigger at 60+ even with the short lifespan gene?

So I see Biosculptor pods, Deathless, Ageless and Non-senescence (and presumably Scarless if it activates before Mortality kills the Pawn) can prevent Mortality, but what about Lifespan multipliers? Do all pawn become eligible for Mortality at age 50, even if their actual natural lifespan is centuries long?

@созерцатель It's an issue of mod order. Load this mod before Selective Biogeneration and all should be fine. (Otherwise you get the error and Mortality will not be curable with the biosculptor pod.) I'll add a reference for automatic sorting. Thanks for letting me know about this.

Thanks for your work. It seems there is a incompatibility with Selective bioregeneration mod. https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3217675412 . At least it throws an error. Can I ignore it or..? Sorry for my poor English.

@Wolmer You could also download this mod, go to the patches folder and open the hediffgiver patch XML file. The bloodthirsty values are still in there as a comment. If you un-comment them and remove the original lines, you have basically the original bloodthirsty mod.

@kiszony If the lifespan of a creature is reduced by it, the probability of triggering Mortality should start and rise at a younger age. Everything is calculated in fractions of the creature's lifespan. (Assuming that the game uses the individual's lifespan for calculation and not the default for their species.)

Yea, I think it was linear. In testing it lead to most pawns living to 90, and on average 120.

Thanks! I'm really glad you made the fork before the original mod vanished. Plus, the change to the exponential curve, which was really neat to work with. Considering the old description, I'm guessing it didn't start out like that.
