@Ardúnadan HF now use different level of GUI editing, no longer need compatch for this mod. it's naturally compatible. I'll remove compatibility info.

I'm actually not able to get it to work with AO+RUI, I'm sorry I misspoke. I had thought that I had it working before but now I cannot get it to work. I guess it's likely then that its because of AO. Bummer.

So if I play with

1. Adoption Options
2. Rank & File
3. RUI:Character

Then Rank&File trumps Adoption Options from showing its UI changes. Specifically, using Adoption Options allows for adopted children of same-sex couples to actually appear correctly with both parents (so two dads or two moms, or whatever). This has been working with RUI for awhile now. But adding Rank & File to the load order invalidates those UI changes and so the adopted child does not show both same-sex parents but only the one who went to the orphanage. Does that make more sense?

It appears that Rank&File and Adoption Options both work just fine with RUI but not together. Whenever I use R&F with Adoptions and RUI, Adoptions' same-sex couples do not recognize their shared offspring. I was able to compatch the two of them to work together, but idk how to compatch them for RUI. Any ideas what I need to do?

I do not know if you thought about updating and taking care of the 2 other NUI mods. It would be great if you did.

I do not think NUI: Family Tree needs any attention, but NUI: Realm Ledger needs some looking into. I know for sure that one needs Expected Legitimacy icon in the vassal tab. I think the Diplomacy tab might need some work also.

Maybe button redesign or relocation to open up the Realm Ledger.

I had made a comp version in 1.15, you can contact me in ck3 mod coop for the files. it was a big work so I do not want do it again fully.

For some reason, the adoption options doesn't seem to be working too well again. It doesn't show parents properly. I'll try to troubleshoot and let you know if i figure it out but who knows.
