Hey @Ignis, I don't know what changes were made, but as of yesterday(I haven't played in about a week so maybe earlier) the search bar in the research tab is completely non-functional. Error log below.

Hmmm, no idea how it could be. Maybe some kind of condition race? I guess some performance mod that adds multi-threading could be causing it.

Try to unsubscribe and resubscribe. Steam sometimes has problems handling file deletions.

The X issue seems to still be there, disabled all mods besides it and harmony (the required mod) so it seems it's an issue with the mod itself

@PaladinWaffles I am also seeing this on more than just the research tree but its likely that this mod and many others need updates. The Rimworld patch this afternoon seems to have broken stuff.

had the same problem but with image opt (loads compressed images as graphics+) i did as they said before and deleted the compressed textures and it fixed the random icons :SG0_BestGirl:

As Morgreth said; If you have Graphics Settings+ installed, go into Rimsort and search for Powl, then right click it and select to delete the optimized textures (.dds files). When you re-optimize your textures you'll have to do it again, I think.

@ignis - not sure if you were keeping this going, but it is the combined research tree that has worked best for me so far so thank you! Is there any way to reduce big vertical gaps more or the techs whos lines overlap but are otherwise unrelated do you think?

Maybe grouping by prerequisites, then subgrouping by mod or tab might work? not really too sure how close the align option is to that.

for anyone else this might help, currently the best settings I've found are as follows:
Org. by tech lv. = OFF
Align to prereqs. = ON
Group by = SAME TAB

you'll end up with a pretty tight tree that's fairly browseable, even with a lot of techs.

So I had the same issue with the missing textures using Powl + Graphic Settings+, while using Rimsort to optimize textures. Got it fixed by overwriting the DDS files through Rimsort.

Hello Autor, thanks for your work. I assume this mod does not regonize all researchs right? I got multiple researches without researching them. Like the doormatts (mod) before it wasn't a tech. Not sure. Is this possible?

I ran into an issue where the technology bubbles and some icons were not displaying an image, defaulting to red boxes with an X in them--possibly a similar issue as @Farwin923--and I isolated it to an issue with the GraphicSettings+ mod (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1678847247)

Hi, everything works perfectly but for some reason some of the icons are showing something completely wrong. For example instead of showing noble apparel it shows AC etc.

@ignis did the validate files and moved the mode to the bottom of the list, dont know which one fixed it but now is fixed, thanks!!

@Sylon WOrks for me. Make sure the mod is enabled and there are no mod conflicts. Also, make sure you actually got the mod update (perform file validation for the Rimworld).

Hope this mod or the fork of the original Research Pal gets updated for 1.6. Switching from those mods to Research Tree feels like riding a horse cart after driving a comfortable car, not to mention vanilla.

I noticed the numbers whown on the research ittems go the opposite way to what the are supposed to be:

For example it currently shows me for the first item in the queue 8 and last 1.

Howdy mate, I get an error the first time I open up the research screen after loading a save. It's not actually causing any issues but I just wanted to let you know.
