I have a problem... I can't pick up the pincers needed to get to the last piece of rope. So now what?! I can't finish the mod and I realy liked it up to that point

After I first beat the main game, if you were to have shown me this and Justine and asked me to pick which one I thought was the official DLC, I'd pick this.

@Punished Obesity Yes you need to picked up them all and lock up the Ghoul, for get the 4th ending.
BTW this ending is actually the Revenge Ending from the main story.

Hey I don't know if you still read comments, but are all the sanity potions a requirement for a good ending or is it okay if I missed 1 or 2?

Also is there a way to listen to the music? Though there was only a few tracks I enjoyed them, sounded like one or two of them were remixes of some tracks from the original game if heard them right.

Well finished the mod and gotta say that was quite the experience, though very disappointed I ended up with ending 1 after all that despite being incredibly thorough and backtracking repeatedly. Ending up with the worst ending despite doing everything I could feels like a bit of a slap to the face if I'm being honest. Overall a great mod though, I enjoyed the liberties taken to add onto the castle and it felt very legit almost like an official DLC or post game update. Just when it came to a few things such as that locked chest along with the orb, I spent hours running around looking for the lockpick and ways to take the orb but I just gave up thinking I'd find them later and ended up with the worst ending... Need some hints or something for them because Idk how on Earth anyone is supposed get any other endings on their first run. 7/10

(Also wtf was that ghoul? Agrippa? An undead victim of Daniel? A demon?)

Also we haven't even finished any of the 5 endings but this is already a 10/10 custom story. We've played over 100 custom stories going back to 2011, and you have the Brennenburg Brothers stamp of approval. This is easily one of the best custom stories we've ever played.

How good this mod is,
but of course they overdid it with the use of monsters in locations.
But there are no real moments for respite, and as a result, you easily get used to the next appearance of the monster.

@Nai Ragna Or so take the other door, because you still can have access to the place where you stucked by the second gate.

@Nai Ragna Try to find differents ways to pile on the crates (it's the only way), and for the second gate, I don't think so.
I never tried.

the first spinny door next the the entrance hall slides down at a rate that people that are not able to pile on the crates fast enough have to do it over and over again... any way to give it a time delay like the second gate?

i grabbed the large piece around the hole, the hanging one in the cordoned off area with the monster that roams around in there as-well as the tiny end of rope, ive searched every room thoroughly

@Nai Ragna Have you searched around the hole in the East Wing ? Or so into the last room in the Upper Hallway area ? Otherwise go check my guide.

ive combined the 3 pieces of rope ive found yet it still says i need more to descend into the hole in the east hall? what gives, ive searched everwhere

is this supposed to be after, specifically, the revenge ending when you knock over the pillars and Daniel gives the speech at the end? its been a long time since i seen the ending so i don't remember exactly

some parts of it were much more scary than the original story which caused me to shit my pants,
would play again 10/10

@Lich is Seething I had the same opinion about this CS, it's true this is one of the best ever made.

So I just completed my first play through and I have to say I am completely stunned how well done this is, I do not want to spoil it but I will share some thoughts.

- This is pretty much DLC content for the game and can be replayed multiple times.
- The custom rooms are pretty much match the interiors that the developers made.
- the castle is extended, explore the other sections of the castle
- The scares and encounters we're flawless and well executed (no flying naked man here)
- A well rounded story..

I will be replaying again, this was extremely well done.
Honestly props the best CS I have played so far.
I would HIGHLY recommend going in blind and giving it a try. (thank me later)
I'd rate it a 9.5 outta 10

@OpalMoon It's cool to see people that love this CS like me. But the creator of this CS (florian) has never said who was at Frictionnal games before, it's just a simply guy making mods.

This is one of the best CS ever made. I just finished it and it feels like it was made by someone at Frictional. It's a must play for anyone that loves the OG story. The only thing I didn't like was the use of the ghoul and that's just because I personally think the ghoul is a crap enemy. 10/10 though.
