the ballast detach makes it less heavy, allowing it to float up better.

Haha yeah only use I see is to gain a lower docking hatch, traitor mode or to put a ton of detonators and explosives in it triggered through a wifi component (not sure if it can then be better than a depth charge).

+ Got rid of that dumb drone that basically nobody has ever even used...

= The 'detachable ballast' is now actually detachable, although off the top of my head I can't think of a situation where it would be useful.
