I cannot reproduce your error. I took the car out of the parking lot into the garage and washed it in the wash box.
Then back outside the garage and then back into the parking lot. All without any problems and no hang-ups.
Saved and exited the game, then started again without any problems.

That's strange, do you get an error message when you try to start the savegame?
But I really can't imagine that a config that doesn't contain any model parts itself would cause something like that.
I'll test it myself later, I have the car in my workshop for a long time (placed there thanks to QoLmod) and never had any problems.

It is a great config, just one issue, it broke my entire save... I put it into car parking, then I tried to bring it back to the garage and its not loading in. After restarting and trying to move it back to garage 2 different ways, I can't load my save anymore :(
