I did attempt a fresh reinstall of kenshi as mentioned in the discussions as well, heft was still borked

any known cause of the original city layouts loading in on top of the new ones? couldn't seem to find a mod that was causing it when attempting mod uninstalls and fresh imports. Heft specifically, in my case. Could have happened in other places, I hadn't gotten to every city yet in the playthrough.

There is like a merchant platform thing out the front of my building in Catun, i can't move/remove the thing and the door is blocked so no one can leave..

Is there a fix to the amount of npc's in sho-battai? seems like theres way more people there than there should be, theres a ton of people just standing around in the middle of town or sitting in shops. Only town I've seen with this issue so far

Hey guys, if the chaos in the Hub giving you a headache, you might want to try this mod I found: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3381761282 . It makes the Hub peaceful.

Anyone have any issues with Bast? Seems there's 2 cities on top of each other making it a bit buggy. Don't know what could be messing with it as this is the only mod that modifies towns, unless reactive world does that in which case this might be the issue

I keep finding shops empty and locations baren. flats legoon normal has population but the new area is empty.

There's a patch to reduce the factions added by this mod and preserve some coherence -. Search for UCTM on workshop.

The post beneath mine is exactly correct. The Hub Mod is a very cool idea but the factions literally fight so often that the town becomes a wasteland.

The Hub has far too much in-fighting. It's an interesting idea, at first, but sticking around for more than 48 hours turns the place into a ghost town. Merchants are constantly running off to help allies and end up fighting otherwise neutral factions for being 'Troublemakers'.

I agree with @Phoenix here, couple of months ago Sho-Battai and The Hub had the forgotten buildings, in effect reducing the polygon count while retaining some of the size it currently has, even on a 4090/13900k setup I went down from 60 to 40 fps on those cities now.

I recently played after a while. But now I have graphical issues in the hub area like overlapping buildings and other structures. I didnt add any other mod, nor I am using another one modifying that place. The problems were not present with the former version of this mod.

Even on a beefy desktop some of these cities drop me to 20-30 fps, pretty surprised. The cities are densely and nicely built up, but maybe because of limitations of the game engine a little over-ambitious

Hate the version of the Hub included in this... too chaotic and doesn't fit with the lore. Can we get a version with the vanilla Hub?

I found a solution for those who have low FPS in cities! Reduce the "NPS visibility radius" in the graphics settings to the lowest possible value! Now I have no lags at all, even in the largest cities.

Getting the same as @Typicalgold. Fps drops a very large amount in these cities, so much so that I had to remove It. I wish there was a "lite" version of the mod that didn't have the cities as crowded but somewhat expanded from vanilla

Does anyone know a good performance mod to go with this? Cities are down to high 30's low 40's FPS. I have a good system so I imagine it is the engine at fault. Any help would be appreciated

Can you make a Cities Rebalanced compatch? It conflicts with The Hub, Admag, Squin, Catun, Clownsteady and Flats Lagoon.

Hmmm, didn't have to import, but it worked next time i visited Flats Lagoon. Maybe it was a pathfinding issue, idk

@MGJ Sakazaki Sounds like you need some mods to increase the challenge, my friend. Try this mod called "Bandits Steal Your Money". You'll lose 50 grand if you're not careful.

@Feather Glad you fixed your own problem! Pathfinding can be a major chore in Kenshi. I'm currently working on a project where I needed to actually move the location of specific NPC housing to get them to actually enter their building once leaving it.

@btgg Strange. I don't have any issues using Kaizo in my own list. Have you tried: 1) Import or 2) A fresh install of Kenshi? That means deleting everything and pressing the verify game files in Steam. Make sure you make a backup of your mods.cfg if you try this.

But yeah, over-all the mod has been working flawlessly up till my most recent save, I spent some time in the south-hub, eventually wandered back up to the intersection and now if I camera over it, Paused or not, the game CTD's after a few seconds to a minute.

Major Overhauls included are UWE (Patched with your patch), Reactive World, and Kenshi Kaizo.

Again, I've no issues prior in The Hub with this combination, this is a recent development. I wish I could provide better feedback LOL. I am playing a Cat from Felines & Rodents, doubt that would cause it though. 2/2

It could be any number of things in my mod list causing this issue but it is a recent issue I've encountered in many hours of playing where if I put my Camera over the central intersection of the hub (By the police station, the gate, the gambling hut, and the temple) For some reason, it CTD's. Yet it was fine hours prior, and playthrough's prior. So I am, Unsure what has changed or what it is causing the crash.

I do wonder if it's worth noting as well that NPC's seem to get stuck in the centre of where the roads path (If you hit Shift+F12 and click roads) where the 3 meet, some NPc's seem to get stuck there and remain there until a reload. 1/2

I still have to check out Reactive World. But by the description, didn't make me look at it much. I'm right now playing Rockiest Bottom with 1B of cats in debts, no limbs, and all factions -100 relations. I just love it. I had to do around 45 reloads to beat it. haha

Sorry to bother you again, but at Flat's Lagoon there are 2 buildings including a clothing shop that are inaccessible, at the NW corner of the NW platform

Thanks for the recommendation, MGJ, but definitely absolutely hardcore not adding the Hook and East Coast Expansion lol heck I even refused those mods in my collection.
They have compatibility issues if I remember correctly.

It also has a lot of mods as a requirement, which can be difficult with compatibility.

Hi btgg, I was not even aware of this mod. From the description, it will conflict with a lot of the towns and cities found in this mod. However, it also includes some edits to locations this mod, and no other mod, does not. Thanks for pointing it out. I'll check it out to see what those locations look like and contact the mod author if it's a good addition.

Np. But if I could say something is, the cannibal faction at the hub is somewhat tough xD They are kidnapping sleeping people around the town and putting them in cages to eat them. xD

I definitely outdid myself. I've been working on another project for a while and I'm thinking it might be time to buckle down and finish it. The whole project should be merged into my UWE patch for this mod, so check out that mod if you haven't already.

Man! You are a hero! I love The Hub from Expanded Cities. I always waited for someone the problems in the original mod. You are awesome and your mod, of course. I stopped using South Hub cuz of buggies, but you even solved that (with a big help)! This is like Xmas!
