I don't know anything about the steam deck. Mods are usually not stable on it from what I have heard. But you just need to press your attack button like the normal game

This level was very cool, makes very interesting use of mechanics and the presentation (in-game and cutscenes) is very impressive. I especially like the prize corner, as an incentive to replay and give some rewards for challenges.
I had some frustrations with the difficulty, but it was fun to overcome. My main gripes are that there was no immunity after releasing the ice hat, some actions (like attacking) stopped you being able to interact so you had to act earlier than you'd expect, and the third section was hard to sightread. Otherwise, my only other issue was how far apart the checkpoints were, but that's not really an objective issue, just how the difficulty is set up.

you know how, in geometry dash, resets are instant? yeah, they did that for a pecking reason.

when i hit something like a door it takes like 0.5 - 1 second before i can jump. this really makes it a lot harder than it should be.

I'm glad I didn't comment as soon as I beat Challenge Road. Now that I've completed all the score and conditional challenges, I can say with certainty that I didn't enjoy the grind. Part of that was my fault; if I'd known that there was no point in getting any pons or radios unless you got them all, my CR playthough could've been far less frustrating, or alternatively productive. My most disliked aspect of the level was the 42 Dance challenge, since that landing hop animation Hat Kid sometimes does seemingly prevents dancing, and there's no visible counter to track dances done, so I have no clue if I was close to failing that challenge. Saving checkpoint skips for last was apparently a mistake, since that one only took about a half dozen attempts compared to the >100 attempts each of the other challenges took.

Hello, Weynik here! Welcome to another episode of Complaining About Challange Road Until I Get The Achievement For It, or CACRUIGTAFI. CACRUIGTAFI is also the sound I make when I see a hard and bad level; like this one for example.

You made Geometry Dash but AHIT and bad. Not like I like GD in the first place, but that's why I don't play it. And this... what even is this.

On top of that, The level starts off with a long boring cutscene nobody cares about, and this is one of these times where the fan made cutscenes actually piss me off. LIke bruh nobody cares about some fanfic you're writing, you don't gotta make a mod pout of this.

I get that this is meant to be an April Fools level, but April Fools is meant to be fun, not bad and frustrating. For some reason many people don't realise it. LIke, this happened to me a lot of times.

whenever I jump on the trampoline at the part where a wrecking ball passes, it doesn't launch me up, I've jumped exactly on it and it didn't work

Seconding this. In particular, the air springboard between checkpoint 1 and 2 you have to be shorthopping before it's visible on screen to get to it, and around missile 2 on the boss (maybe even earlier) it's dropping things right in front of you and it's near impossible to sightread, especially with the particular physics involved. At least for me, it's not what I would consider reasonable.
Really cool level though, from a technical standpoint, and I see you put a lot of effort into it! It earns its place on the featured list for sure.

Love the concept and the cutscenes, gameplay was good fun too. I did give up in the third phase (the part after the second checkpoint). There were a few cases where I feel you basically have to memorize what's coming, because things are sprung on you so quickly it's impossible to react in time if you don't know it's coming. And this was on the easier mode.

there's a lot of other mods that add it back into the game which is why i kept it as only a rental. 3 mods i can think of right now you can get it from are Beta Badges and Hats, Temperature Clash, and The Dark Forest. Hope that helps

the prize corner is the pink building, you can go into the doors, and the trash bag triggers a secret it's not important

What are you meant to do in the last section? It says go to a prize counter but there is none, and the birds say they should sneak into the party and the guards wouldn't hear a "chemical explosion", but whenever I explode anything with the brewing hat it does nothing. one track bag broke into multiple pons but thats it. Am I just softlocked or am I missing something???

Have you updated the mod? That issue with buffering should have been fixed as now you can jump out of ice hat.

ngl, love the concept and execution of this level, but can't get past over certain obstacles because half of the time is bc of my poor reaction speed and half of the time is due to the buffering between states eating the inputs
