Clothes in the begining of this submod were the vanilla models available at the date, the closest one to a Jedi Robe was a nightgown, but now Paradox added more clothes, and I befriended other mod devs, so I can borrow from the modding community. I'm not a 3d modeler myself, but I will make better use of any available clothing to changed the models used in some faiths. A shout out to the great modelers making this workshop better.

When playing as house kenobi, when I get the jedi trait my outfit only changes to a nighgown, is that intended or a bug?

@mjohnnyss this may be a Steam Workshop issue. Try unsubscribing, wait for the downloads to finish, and then subscribe again so that Steam Workshop downloads the files correctly.

Mandolarian Faith's become a bounty hunter decision doesnt work because for some reason the game doesnt regonize when you do a martial or strength based quest in that tab while it does in the knight errand tab

@Kirikaze, deactivating faiths is done by a decision available for human players only for a few days in the beginning of the game. You can find this decision in the category Story Decisions.

can you pick and choose which to be in game? i dont really want any of the other stuff i just want the fallout ones. im pretty sure there was a submod that only added fallout stuff but i cant find it and i think it was deleted

I'm glad to say that Quinnz was correct and that Update 11 is playable for now. Revert your game to version 1.15.0 (Crown) to play it. If is still crashing, unsubscribe from the Sci-Fi submod, wait for the downloads to finish and then subscribe again, so Steam Workshop downloads the files correctly this time.

Thank you for your feeback @Quinnz, the mod has been temporarily reverted to the April 23rd version, it seems that in my attempt to shield some parts of the submod in the April 27th version from the new DLC, made it unable to start a new game

@Quinnz, interesting find, I'm too deep into Update 12 to fix 11 on the current 1.15.0 beta, if you can confirm to me that the April 23rd version is somehow working then I will just revert everyone to it, as we wait for AtE to update to 1.16

okay after some tesitng I have found out, going back to the april 23rd version of this mod fixes all the crashing. seems newest version is bugged somehow.

Mod doesnt work atm, ruler select screen is all messed up and picking play as your own crashes the game

paradox fixed it and reverting back to 1.15.0 puts you to 1.15.0.2, but it still crashes for me

The last patch I released just before the DLC was meant to ensure that you could continue your saves. However, I had no idea Paradox would only allow rollback to version 1.15.0.0 instead of 1.15.0.2. So now, I'm waiting before reviewing every single file to update the submod. You may have noticed that playing AtE right now results in a broken UI and 3D models, so the devs will definitely make a major update that I'll need to catch up with.

@Kneeslasher25, on 1.15.0.0 you can continue your savegames with the Sci-Fi submod but not start a new game, as this submod uses on game_start a interface feature only released in 1.15.0.2, it won't start on older versions. Sorry about that, the submod will be updated only after AtE is updated.

Thing to note is that ATE works fine on 1.15 without this mod but im not sure why its only just doing this now with the new update.

Currently, im having an issue of the game crashing to desktop whenever trying to start a new game with only ATE and this mod enabled and ive tried multiple things to address it with not luck

uninstalling and reinstalling this mod like said below
changing game versions back to 1.15 and 1.14 with no luck
verifying integrity of my files which didnt amount to anything

so far im at a loss on what to do.

@Elizabeth, the decision only requirement is not being an AI, I just tested and Adventurers have access to the decision. The decision is called Remove Sci-Fi Faiths and is only available at the start of a new game for a few days.

@Dovah, thanks for the kind words! I've fixed any errors I could. Unfortunately some things, mostly the way High Republic elections work, the interactions added by the new commodity trading system and the vassal stances (the feature of courtly and parochial vassals and such), are not well-coded in AtE. It's a heavy task to duplicate these systems to work for both Administrative and High Republics, and using the same system for both at the same time is causing lag bc isn't implemented well. So, I can only wait for the devs to fix this and wish them luck.

@Petrocchi It's unfortunate that you have to spend so much time cleaning up after the main AtE team instead of focusing on your own work. It's made your mod into somewhat of an unofficial patch for AtE. That said, I and the rest of your subscribers greatly appreciate your efforts.

I've spent the last few days trying to improve the mod and the game's performance as much as possible. I even fixed errors from the main mod that were unrelated to this submod. However, there are some issues I cannot fix, no matter how many dozens of patches I apply. These errors are related to High Republics functioning as Administrative, which are triggering some unknown effects that break titles and, as a result, corrupt save files.
A new DLC is coming soon, so the next major update of this submod (and of AtE itself) will take a long time to happen, and all saves will be lost when the DLC drops anyway.

@Killinspecialist, fixed the Deus Ex Metalli missing a check for provinces, as for the crash it is not the submod as people have reported a similar crash in the AtE discord.

I tried playing the Joyful Oblivion character based on We Happy Few but somehow it turned into a theocracy and I got the game over screen.

@Petrocchi performance is better and crashing is down while im playing however and this might not just be bc of this mod but after a few years go by lets say 4 or 5 every time i try to load a save it crashes at 60%/100% without fail meanwhile i can still load the save i have on day one but the save i have 4 or 5 years in i cant no idea why maybe an event somewhere is messing up code idk another thing is when i use the decision to remove certain sci-fi faiths all of them work and get disabled except for Deus Ex Metalli they still retain 1 province i dont think the decision let them stay before but idk

so there is no way to see the original character selection even with this mod? I get I can still choose any character but I still think it is not a good idea to get rid of the mods main characters

@Ty of Troy, the Sci-Fi mod will only show the characters of the Sci-Fi mod. The Play Any Character button is always there to select non-Sci-Fi characters anywhere on the map.
