Wow. I was recently thinking how cool it would be to be able to combine some Origins especially this one. And now by accident I came across your mod wow, I am waiting for the update in which will return frameworld and now I will subscribe to your mod. Super work.

well frameworld currently doesnt work in base gigas so- and otherwise im slowly working on getting this working in 4.0, although i am slacking a bit until gigas itself is properly updated for 4.0

i just tried the away on a Frameworld for some reason there would be no EHOF it spawned me in the galaxy as if i didn't choose away on a island origin and i would have two Frameworlds? one would be really small and only had the description of a Frameworld but apparently it was a planet too because it rebelled i think? because it was there one moment then was gone the next i have no idea why this happened i tried twice both times the same happened this mod seems good it looks like i just got unlucky

Not really. It should only be be the ones that hold pops, such as Frameworld and Alderson Disk ect. Most of their reasource based ones should be mostly fine

i believe theyre planning on a 'quick' update disabling any broken content, and then work on updating the mod proper

I wonder if we'll see Giga in the first month of 4.0 at all. It's about as massive of a change as the removal of the tiles, if not bigger.

probably not going to do any other updates until 4.0, working on remaking this because i am disgusted with the mess that i have left myself in the code, depending on how far i get we will probably lose a few of the origins for a while, but i will try to ensure that frameworld and birch world remain for the initial update

I am having the same problem of Azure. It does not look like a mod conflict. I tested disabling everything except Giga's and this mod, and the problem still occurred. Any way it could be fixxed?

The decayed birch world version doesn't seem to be getting the initial planetary features it is supposed to have.
So the birch world starts with zero districts
Is this a known issue?

the origin where you start on a gaia homeworld is somewhat broken, it doesnt spawn me in an extragalactic cohesive cluster but instead has me hyperlaned up to the rest of the galaxy like normal and my home system has a black hole instead of a star. checked in the edit menu for my species and the name for the origin is bugged, has the details of the normal life seeded origin and the name shows as origin_life_seeded_incohesive

honestly i cant playtest this update right now, please let me know asap (preferably by discord) if this update breaks anything- this was intended simply to prevent ai from using the origins, however it may contain other unfinished content that i forgot about

that one is on my radar, but would either require recreating the entire origin or overwriting it fully, and it may be a lot of work either way

ai_weight = {
base = 0
}
instead of
ai_playable = { always = no }

did someone has that too? every time i spawn with one origin from this mod, a handful of ai empires use it too. they spam systems and overload the game

Very weird, is it possible to make it so all the origins start with a system nearby that has one of all the rare resources to make it possible to spawn? I like to play these origins by staying apart from the main galaxy and joining just before the crisis can start.

ehof is kinda weird in that it wont spawn strategics if you dont have the tech to harvest them already

So I did some testing, I reloaded my save to a point before I notice I had not gotten any rare resources and console commanded some into a system I had not surveyed yet, and soon after surveying that system other systems started getting rare resources when surveyed. I think there might be a prerequisite for resources that will spawn in the separate galaxy/space and for the rare ones its having seen them in the "wild" 1st.

I've got a question about frame world origin. When I start as a frame world and expand the space, no systems get rare resources (gas/motes/crystals) then an event that triggers crystals in one (the asteroid event) and then future systems start getting crystals but still no motes or gas. Is this a bug or am I not supposed to get rare resources?
