I remember that issue. I had that several times when modding or adding more units in. Usually is something you installed along side with this mod, most certainly unit mods.
Did you install any other unit mods instead of mine?
@ChefGuevara
Sadly no. I haven't modded for Shogun 2 for the longest time. I opt'd out of Shogun 2 for a long while now, no clue if I still have my modding tools to edit units and such.
Yes, it should, but don't expect it to be balanced. :)

And see if that fixes your issue. You don't have to exactly run Shogun 2 with it, just make sure it's in your data folder and see if that solves your issue.
Expanded Japan, Longer Campaign, Add AI occupational resistance, and Tech Tree Time Reduction Mod.
My game runs fine until the seige occurs, and the added bow unit is the only unit from this mod that's in the current army.
EDIT
Sound Fix did not solve the issue.
There are fixes, there's one in the description that links you to the twcenter.net . I believe it is Sinfonia Semplice. Run the program and it should fix the bug. Depending on how many mods you may have, there are no promises it may fix that issue. Again, blame the engine's fault. Whenever you add a new mod pack of some sorts, you have to run that program again to fix the bug. If the sound bug seems to be there, run the program again or remove some mods to sort the issue.
@Luna Child: Yes, I believe that can work, I would test it out, but I'm currently running a toaster as a computer. There's another option as to regarding increasing unit sizes, as to change the amount with the PFM program for the table "Units" or "Unit_Stats_land." No clue on which one, I've been lazy of quite late.

i change -> campaign_unit_multiplier # ( # = number ) max is 3 !! well i found it on youtube
with google help here check ur self if u want find it own ur own
---- google this or find it on youtube = Shogun 2 how to increase unit size
Try launching Shogun 2 without this unit pack.
@wayne.beglan: There's a green button with "subscribe" on it. It'll automatically download for you and will update the pack whenever I made updates to it.
@spacefishmanben: Thanks! I would to add to the encyclopedia, but I'm a lazy tot regarding to that. Plus I'm terrible with making up stories text that can relate to historical Japan more or less so it wouldn't be an interesting reading to be quite honest with you.
@y'allberetard: Try out Vastator's mod! It pretty much add a new varant of textures and armors to vanilla units. It's pretty amazing looking. I'm planning to make a new unit pack mod with "elite" infantry units inspired by Vastator's Heroes. No clue when that's going to finishing because I have life to worry about.
