"Using sutures decreases tshocktimeout by 100, and the new traumatic shock formula is -(0.5 + HF.BoolToNum(shouldReduce, 1.5) + c.afflictions.tshocktimeout.strength * 100). Since tshocktimeout is negative, it just maxes out traumatic shock instantly."—by Azure, also stuck in the bug
but... I just want Trauma Sheers so I can remove my cast. The Medical crate is pretty expensive, and gives me all the other stuff I don't need.
I just want to be able to craft the one item I specifically need.
Also, does anyone know if there is a mod to allow operating on dead people?
Crafting medical tools...
"Oh, I need Trauma Sheers", Go to the crafter, type in "Trau"... no results...
How are we supposed to craft medical tools now?
And don't say buy them, when you're playing with a mod like Dynamic Europa, MOST stations DO NOT have the medical vendor on them, which means it's easier to find medical tools on wrecks than it is to buy them.
They NEED to be craftable to be obtainable in such games.
It becomes a real issue when you're playing multiplayer, and your doctor doesn't turn up this week, and all the tools are in his inventory. You literally have no medical equipment, and no way to obtain replacements unless you can craft it, but we can't seem to craft it.
Using the Multipurpose Scalpel once will inflict organ removed without placing it in your inventory. If you want to take the organ in question, use the scalpel a second time and you'll collect it. Also, one kidney is now removed per use, so if you want both you'll need to use it three times total.
And remember, you don't have to drag treatment items to each individual limb. Double clicking it in your inventory or using the corresponding number key on your hotbar while you have the specific limb selected are options if you're strapped for time. Hope this helps some confused medics out there!
Cause of death: "Which limb is it to remove the heart again?" *Accidently removed the liver instead*
Yeah, the scalpel change is a bad one.
