everytime i try to load the game with the modpack, once its done loading. I get the normal mod error screen but that's it. None of the menu options pop up. Not sure what im doing wrong. I even cleared out my mod folder and re-downloaded them all and than verified the integrity of them.

@Thunderous Wanderer The game crashing is a whole different beast. Join the discord, there is a large troubleshooting guide there with every solution i've ever found.

Hello, when you mean nuke your config folder what do you mean? I have the same issue of the game crashing on initializing? I am terribly inept when it comes to computers. Thank you!

@Luvvy Nuke your config folder, this is an issue some people get when the configs update. Should fix it. Also, join the Discord! I keep folks up to date on stuff like this

Did something change in the modpack. I played yesterday no problem now it just shows ... when loading waited over a hour and nothing changed. :( My pawns need me!

@jasmine dragon Tea You probably limited your entire planet's technology to that tech level. Just use the default world tech setting. You are limiting your entire future by touching the slider. Keep it unrestricted.

i might have just done a stupid, i started on an animal start and could progress the tech tree after getting culture, any ideas or did i just mess something up

ah ok so though cradle are archotech I don't have to worry about being raided as an animal based wild man tribe by mechs and walkers. Thanks for the reply Ferny

@PFC Calico Don't restrict the game with the world tech level setting unless you are trying to do a locked down themed run. The progression is balanced around an unrestricted world, where factions of only one tech above you are raiding you

Hey, thanks for the modpack, I have bolted on the deadman's switch mods (only the ones that already use mods within the pack) and the sin's dryads faction. Although I do have a question regarding that. If I start in the animal era, will I see say the cradle faction (deadman's switch faction archotech level) at archotech when I get there or if I restrict factions in the mod options to match my tech level will they never appear. I hope that question makes sense XD

keeps crashing on load. even if I enable mods partially (with all dependencies and reorder ofc). crashes right after "initializaton". is it a commong thing or-

@TheAngryViking2 Mods are changing their modIDs due to the 1.6 update. Disregard, just throw em back in. Shouldn't happen too often

What would cause mods to randomly deactivate when opening the game? Yesterday when booting up Rim, one of my mods were deactivated, so I had to add it then restart the game.

Today I opened up rim to Progression: warfare being deactivated, restarted the game, and now Progression: defenses was deactivated.

Guys my granary disappeared from storage menu. And multi reinstall mod was deactivated? Any ideas?

@STaSHZILLA Many reasons why that could be happening. There's a very easy troubleshooting guide on the discord, it's most likely just file validation.

Is this mod still working? i have been ending up with no menu after it all loads up.

this seems like a really great modpack! only issue i am having is that i can't launch the game to play without the game crashing after setting the mod list!
was there specs for this mod pack i simply miss or am i somehow doing something wrong? would love to play this!
is there a smaller version of the mod pack or a mod pack similar to this?

How to deal with long loading times, yeah its annoying, but watch some youtube or watch memes, that's atleast how i am waiing for it to load. Nothing we can do about it

It still takes forever even with my mods disabled. I'll likely need to disable many of the smaller mods from this pack.

It is weird to me as my processor isn't exactly a potato. i5-10600. That final number matters more than the i cores. It just so happens that I am looking to get a better processor soon, but this should stand up to a lot of average i7's. It doesn't struggle with the vast majority of games.
It won't be my RAM as it's 64GB (yes I need that much).
Of course, you're correct that the problem wouldn't be as bad if I had a better processor.

Nothing weird it takes a long time to load

Why does this take FOREVER to load. Is it because I added roughly 100 mods on? I didn't think they would be too heavy though.
I know it's 900+ mods so it's to be expected I guess...
I have a list of all the mods I added in a .txt file.
I'm testing to see if the game takes forever to load without my mods activated RN.

Whenever I send out a caravan, it is then unable to re-enter my colony. It just waits atop the colony hex and does nothing. Right-clicking the colony also does nothing, nor is there any other button to fix this. Any ideas?

@The last Gunslinger - VE Medieval 2 isn't part of the mod list.

How much RAM is needed for this modpack?

Is it just me or are tabards from Vanilla Expanded Medieval 2 not craftable somehow? I really enjoy the heraldry, but with your mod pack, the tabards are not in the game anymore?
