played a round with some friends, and while the map is aesthetically pleasing, its rather frustrating to play with so much deep snow around. deep snow in general isnt that great for maps since it restricts troop movements significantly, preventing flanks and slowing down retreats making them easier to kill. other than that the map looks really cool.

@NICOBRO, Seriously, have a look at the mods in the workshop. It doesn't matter what population a map has now. There are mods out there for custom pop for ALL maps.

@Otto, there is no need to change popcap on maps anymore. Go and download a popcap mod from here in the workshop. You can have whatever pop you want.

the edges of the maps are too close to the camp so that vehicles are stranded at their outputs

Monolithic Bacon makes some pretty killer maps. I've loved EVERY one I've downloaded. Keep up the great work dude! \m/ :P \m/

I forgot to leave a rating! After re-playing it with the AI in 2v2, I think it is more suited to this mode (2v2), as it is quite large, and it lends itself to different pathways. It is an extremely detailed map, and while that is really cool and aesthetically pleasing (especially along the rail line), again, there are a couple palces that make it difficult to tell where your units can travel. There's a spot in particular at the left side fuel, between it and the middle VP. There's some green cover, and it's difficult to tell at first that units can't travel through there, but instead have to go around (to the bottom onto the rail, or to the top of the map).

Overall, I'd give it a 7/10. Definitely a subscribe.

Great map. I like the size, use of roads vs deep snow. Nice scenery, looks like the derailment was a success.

I like thix map, especially the firefights that can happen along the rail line. I do find the map, at times, has some issues with pathing and it can be difficult to tell where troops can travel and where they can't with all the shrubbery and elevation levels. Overall, though, I had fun with it.

@NoGra, just click on "Subscribe" above, and the map will start downloading. If you have a slow internet connection, give it a few minutes, and eventually it will appear in the map list when you set up a game!

All pathing isses with the current build are fixed, so far as I'm aware!

i have no problem to rate good maps , and i always do for your maps, Good work as always.

Hey Bacon :) This map have Blizzard ? I realy like your Maps but it would be nice to add Blizzard to one of your winter-maps :) If you dont add it because you dont like the Relic Admosphere, then its a good reason for sure ....;( on My maps i also just used it ones....

@Antares30, it's always been around, unfortunately. You can use Relic's own night/day cycles, but can't combine them with blizzards!

@Antares30, I'm afraid that I can't do that, while the atmosphere settings on Worldbuilder are bugged. At the moment, to have blizzards and deep snow, you must use Relic's Atmosphere settings.

However, watch this space! If the bug is fixed, a night cycle added to the mix would be easy!

We've had some pathfinding issues ironed out, some areas opened up to increase the flow of gameplay, deep snow has been added across the map, and the snow in general has been changed from tiles to thin snow, so vehicles and infantry will leave tracks. We also have blizzards now!
