note I tested both a canoe since I have the neolithic and this was tribal and a spawned in cog and junk. also deep sea where where the ships needed to leave where

so I wanted to ask. anyone know how to actually to send ships in to the sea? I tried on one save set near a ocean tile and I could not get to the boat to leave

@Fèru Or, outposts expanded has known issues with Vehicle Framework, just dont send your vehicles directly into one of those outposts

Another possibility is the way the mod interacts with outposts expanded. Pawns seem to be frozen to whatever state they were when they were pulled out of one of the outposts hence not consuming food. I'm not sure what it could be.

Maybe tier 2 ships rely on fishing so don't need food? not sure if it works the same way with the brig, frigate, and galleon but as I build them i'll test them.

So I sent a sloop to explore the coasts of the continent but the pawns don't consume any food. I've traversed half the planet and they have the same amount of food as they did when they departed. I have also sent a cog to a lake down a river and it does consume food.

@ZERT Sarg has a mod called "Alpha Vehicles - Neolithic" that has an outrigger canoe.

My only complaint about this mod is that the Junk is tier 0, when they were vastly superior than cogs in many technologies. Not really a major complaint, but love the concept of the mod and would love better and larger junks being available (as well as the huge treasure ships!)

Could you add Medieval Overhaul compatibility? sailing instruments require components but the medieval overhaul mod only allows construction of basic components.

It keeps giving me the error "one of your colonist will not be able to exit the ship" and refuses to let me send the caravan.

It gives me that error on my current world so I tested on an old play through and that one I could send the caravan so I thought maybe it was just a bad map tile.. I started a new play through because boats are a big part of what I'm trying to do so I tested right at he start and again on the new play through I can't send the caravan by boat.

I get he error "one of your colonist will not be able to get out" and it doesn't let me send the caravan.

Can you not use these ships on caravans? I'm doing a medieval run and made my settlement on an island, I built the "junk" ship. I set the world up with lots of coastal faction bases so I could visit them by boat but it won't let me go to them. It gives an error like no place to unload at destination.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? My base tile is a coastal tile but might be from the mod geological land forms because the tile is a little island.

There is no bug report area because this mod has no code. Any such bugs need to be reported on the Vehicle Framework

(cant find bug report area) Is there any reason in my medieval play-through that all tier 1 and 2 vehicles do not work I.E. I cannot build them and when force spawning them they break and do not work at all, and trying to remove them leaves a giant pink square of doom. the tier 0 ones do work and have no issues but that isn't what i want to use seeing how they do not have cannons
