This way, I managed to leave the controls and let the boat go towards my destination without worries. Also, if you move, you need to to ever so often check the depth and bring the boat back up or down a bit, but with good balance you only rise or fall about 0.1 meters in a cartain amount of time.
This boat is especially fickle to dive, but it is kind of fitting for a CCCP boat.
If not the plate with the code (and other major doors and items) will be missing. This Model is declared modded, which means it mostly relies on modded game files. Hope that helps
The game is not very intuitive with all the functions and posibilities and creators (yeah me too) do mostly just run the basic informations for using the different controls ^^.
One always fiddles about, blows something up and learns along the way :)
And yes, the 3 silos take on water, that is absolut fine, correct. They would need to have some automatic doors as covers, to prevent that and since they need to fill up anyway, I never bothered to fix that. That way, if you open the silos underwater, the boat will not change its depth, cause of the different weight from air to water in the silos.
The radiation is not a concern, it is just in the reactor enclosure (and you should not go in there, past the window, except you want to feel some tingle and test your geiger counter, which there are some aboard in the room between the silos and the reactor space)
I will look into the matter asap, cause I am not sure where the leakage is comming from then.
Could you tell me:
Where do you take on water? What rooms are filling up? Or do you take on water in the ballast tanks?
Also, there is a visual bug cause the submarine is too big and has very large ballast tanks. If you move about, you sometimes see water clipping through. I think I have to section the rooms more, to make the ballast tanks smaller and more managmeable for the engine.
Operations are as following: Go to the rear and enter the reactor control. Push the two leavers up till 300 and go out into the control center.
In there, you can fill up the ballast tanks till the levels in the brackets.
Go to the helm and flip the turbine/batterie flip switch and use the two throttle leavers to drive the boat (do not go full throttle or you break of the antennas and the periscope gets stuck!)
Set the desired depth and activate the depth hold (you will need to be in motion to really hold your actual depth)
Thats all I can think of right now.
The code is in the captains cabin, the description clearly states the fact of the original creator and the original version is also still up for anyone to use and compare. So what exactly is your point?
