Okay so I did bit more research and I found out that this mod does not fully work with spongie's hair mod. Is there is possibility for compatibility mod in the future?

2 more years, I doubt it. NPCs will take at least 4 years of constant work to get them in a half functional state, based on how good the animal NPC ai is (it kinda sucks).

That might be how Linux compiles things or whatever. No one so far has said anything about that happening yet. You can also try any other updated b42 mod that has hair and see if it still does it that.

are the hairs appearing as bald for anyone else as well? anyways I managed to fix this issue (at least for myself) by editing the hairStyles.xml file located in the directory:
"../SteamLibrary/steamapps/workshop/content/108600/3174458861/mods/NemleiCharacters/42/media/hairStyles/"

what i did was, change the directory path separators inside the xml file (that were using backslashes "(\)"), to using forward slashes (/), and this made the hairstyles visible in the game

anyway from what I understand, this issue seems to occur specifically on Linux (i'm on arch linus myself btw) i'm not entirely sure though

jk, I updated it. The rendering is fucked on some items hairstyles so if you can kinda see through hairstyles or clothing me and a few others figured out whats wrong and its up to the devs to fix.
