My Discord crashed and so the mod got mad, and then the game called it problematic and forcefully disabled it >.>

I mean it makes 100% sense, it's just a bit annoying when I lose internet connection and the mod has a fatal error so it disabled itself.

Yea Discord needs to be running and have an internet connection, because for me when one of those is missing the mod just breaks for me.

does discord needs to be on my computer to make this mod works?

Oddly enough, the first line in the mod's Remix configuration (defaulting to {food}) does not seem to take spaces. The second one does, though.

Games with Discord's Rich Presence support simply report what is going on in the game by communicating with Discord, the downloadable program, and having Discord decide what to do with it (usually making it show up in the activity tab on your profile).
This mod will make the game report the stuff mentioned in the description.

If Discord is up and running, then it will pick up on that a game is communicating with it. If Discord Rich Presence features are enabled and it is displaying your activity as your status, then the game will use the information given and make it show up.

You obviously need Discord for this to work. It doesn't message you. You don't need to join any server.

like what is it suppose to do!? do you need a discord app?! or does it DM you? pls tell me what the mod should do on discord. because it says NOTHING on discord...

Can we get pre-cycle compatibility? Instead of showing the top cycle pip as hollow show all of them as full to show pre-cycle.

if i start rain world without opening discord i get this "Dreams (Discord Rich Presence): ResultException: InternalError" then the mod gets disabled

I have been hard at work on the new update (among other things) so don't worry, it will be done soon!

today when loading up the game i got a problematic mods popup and it said "Dreams (Discord Rich Presence): ResultException: InternalError" and my game had to restart without it . Just thought i'd bring that up . Its been working fine earlier!

spiderboi008 your Discord might not have rich presence enabled? I can't do anything about the Discord app and that message is just to stop the game from crashing if Discord isn't open. I will look into it anyway

I've tried doing what the mod says by restarting the game with discord open, however it just says that every time i start the game without even being able to access its config in the remix menu.

Yo Record, I currently have a toggle in the remix menu for enable, disable tracking of slugpups. I will add more slugpup specific properties in the next update!

Yo Five Pebbles, it just streams your data from Rain World to Discord. Check the remix menu for more control over what is sent!

Im assuming you know about how this mod causes arena mode to crash, I just want to know if you are working on fixing that? Otherwise, very nice mod. Its what I wish rain world always looked like on discord rich presence.

Unfortunately SUPER MARIO SUN SHINE, I cannot. It might be possible to let you create your own rich presence setup with a new app and stuff. I will consider that but rn, that doesn't seem necessary

Also Klarkson, it works by using the Discord Game SDK. Funny story I actually tried making this weeks ago but I couldn't figure that dumb sdk, I still don't understand it fully. But I just extract info from the player character and then send that to the sdk, which goes and talks to Discord's servers, and voila Discord Rich Presence

So people I am cooking rn, I got a fix for the Discord game library bug and am going to add more customizability to what is displayed. I will hopefully drop this patch at some point lol
