Never crashed once for me but you have to make a new save if you start using it. Also it fixes memory leak problem for loading saves too, Which is a big problem for older PCs.
Otherwise there is not much you can do except reduce graphic settings and battle size.
Even after doing so, Game is probably going to crash again after some time.
Heavy crossbowmen are ideal, anywhere and anything, you want most of your garrison to be heavy crossbowmen, you want hundreds of them along with the armoury that refills amo. Now the second most important part is having a large troops on the field limit so you can have more guys shooting, you want some spawning on more distant walls to shoot the enemy if they manage to gain a foothold on the walls.
In the field you should tailor your army to counter whoever you are fighting, generally for most of their generals in the field elite light cavalry and many horse archers will be enough of a counter. Some of them have only one or two troop types so you need to adjust to cause maximum damage and minimize your losses. You aren't sending an army of archers against the Falcon guys now are you? The Zann have large armies and will smother you in arrows and thrown weaponry, heavy armour and shields are your best friends IF you can still fight them that way.
This mod is basically hardcore survival mode, it isn't meant to be easy, it's meant to be a challenge and keep you from getting bored. Late game I auto resolve every small and medium fight and some of the large ones. I take many more casualties and it feels real, I'm not steamrolling over my opposition with every fight. I'm making the game much harder and I tend to let my troops take out the camp leaders, I focus on my shield skill and carry multiples and I bait him and my troops shoot him down.
they oneshot every soldier
they should nerf them a bit
I realy like the mod though and in my mind it's one of the best mods for this game
'ate Zann
'ate Geldar
'ate People of Valahir doomspawns
Luv me Sut
Luv me Cretas
Luv me Incendrim
Luv me leaf bombs
Simple as
If you worry about money, Set up Enterprises on every city possible or farm tournaments.
If you want strong army; Geldar and Elintor for Archer/Horse Archers.
Tolrania and Sut for the best Infantry and Knights. Cretas is also a good choice.
If you want to get an army as FAST as possible, Hire slaves from Ransom Brokers.
They are very fast to level up and decently strong. I think you can hire around 100-200 units.
This happens in other games such as Skyrim Fallout Cyberpunk etc. There is nothing to fix.
Either play on your old save with the old version until you complete the game or update the game and create a new save.
Also for those people who are afraid of grinding their way back into the game, You can use an editing tool called ''MnB Save Editor'' It works perfectly fine with all mods.
You can give yourself Gold, Skill/Attribute, Renown or any troop you want.
The update is absolutely beautiful (I'm being ironic). Yes, it is, if you don't consider that it crashed more in 2 days than the previous version did in 1 year. And no, it's not my PC, it happens on two different computers, one of which is a new gaming PC. Error after error, at some point, probably when you finally completed the battle, the game closes by itself, without a script, an error or whatever. Nothing. I'm forced to save every 5 seconds to play. The previous version, at least, worked.
Fix it, it's absurd.
If you don't Rock and Stone, you ain't comin' home!
