I tested it and played with the classical scene on. In theory it should work with the classical scene off too.

Unfortunately, I have for some reason the music from Sea Dogs 2 is not added, only the original music is playing.

The mod does not remove the original music. It adds new music in addition to the original.

This will break certain sound effects if used with version 1.4 (most notably pistol sounds).

DoBrO, их в Корсарах 2 очень немного. Практически все вошли в мод. Возможно потом сделаю мод, в котором будут треки и из К2, и из ГПК, но пока нет времени.

Просто нужно подписаться на мод в мастерской, дальше игра сама скачает и всё будет работать

Thanks for the feedback. I have over 200 hours of gameplay, at least 100 of which have been since I subscribed to the mod. I'm very close to the end of the game. So it should be something else.

djmtx, this mod does not replace the original music. With this mod, the game will feature both old and new music. Play a little bit longer and you'll notice added music.

By far the best soundtrack of all the games! I was thinking of implementing it myself but just being too lazy doesn't help! Thank you for the great work!
