@syntek: I found it odd as well, i'm not sure if it's the drill gyroscopes as they're supposed to be turned on/off. I like figuring things out and hopefully it's just a bug with the rotors or something. Anyway, have a good one! :)

@brifiction: I did as you said, and it does rotate all on its own. I have no idea why it does it or how I can stop it from doing it. I have never had a ship do that before. That is really odd. If you or anyone else can figure out how to fix this, let me know and I'll update it.

@syntek: I simply did this. went into flight cockpit after pressing T, press Y to shutdown. left flight cockpit control by pressing T and just observed the ship moving on its own while inside the ship, slowly but gradually. I hope it's clear enough for a recreation of the scenario. Thanks again for the reply :) been making some ship designs all day yesterday, love this game like crazy haha.

Do you just fly around mining, or do you have some base somewhere that you ship your haul back to?

@brifiction: Thank you :). As for the issue you spoke of, I tried many different things to recreate what you experienced, but it didn't rotate or pitch while the platform wasn't running.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Great build as I went for a test run and learned on how it works! A small issue I guess is when it's powered down, it rotates in one place even when completely motionless. No drifting but when offline, it pitch in all directions on its own. Is it the drill head that caused it? high ship mass? increased mass in cargo? Anyway, favourite was the drill gyroscopes idea implemented, simply brilliant :)

Too bad there is no realistic build plans for something like this in survival.

@piraneous: If your world is in creative mode, you can load my world up, hit ctl+c while looking at the AMV (and be kind of close to it), then hit escape, then exit my world and load yours, then press ctl+v, and that will copy my ship to your world. If your world is in survival mode, you can use the SEToolbox to copy it from my world to yours. However, if you use SEToolbox, the two pistons I have on the back will not work at all and will have to be replaced along with the connectors attached to them.
