Beautiful board, nice game. I recommend adding a snapping grid (box, center, 1.95x1.95, offset 1,1,1)

Yes, I meant this, Hnefatafl, is what the idea, of Thud, came from.
When I read the novel, I thought a chess-like game starting with a surrounded party was just the author making a joke. But I am very glad to learn it has historical roots.

I remember Thud from the Discworld novel of the same name.
So this is what the idea came from? Interesting.
