Olvier isn't really someone who would ally with junta, he does get elected democratically by the end of his path, in case of him leaning closer to the followers, but with his Hubologist leaning I can see it being a thing

A really agressive California would be cool. Moore is semi like that however they are more just focused on securing Californias borders, Oliver could have a focus on reaching out to different military juntas while “stabilising” unstable regions, establishing new military regions there like how he got appointed to lead the Mojave in the first place

It should have puppets, but I don't think I add foreign diplomacy stuff, what would you like to see there?

Does this mod have unique foreign policy stuff? Or unique puppets like most NCR leaders get?

Just as a heads-up, but this mod currently doesn't incorporate any of the new OWB gamerules, overwriting it with an outdated file in order to modify the default state of a single line to have the NCR in electoral deadlock.

Honestly my favorite part of OWB. Love the NCR but they are a powerhouse in the normal game, its nice to play as them and have to actually fight for survival.

The story is incredibly well written, really enjoyed the redemption arc for Oliver, good character development for others as well!

I noticed that the mod hides the settings of the Ultra Old World Blues Expanded+ mod, because there is a civil war NCR setting in your mod

I know this is just a skill issue but I dont tend to struggle too often with hoi4, the civil war is really painful to win as soon as you come into contact with californian way, they just spam their command ability for guns making attacking them impossible then they attack with 20% bonuses, the longer the war goes on the harder it gets too as their focuses continue but yours would run out. everytime I have gotten anywhere near making progress the legion takes their focus to declare on me and I cant give up the land because it has all your economy which I already am struggling to supply enough divisions to cover the californian way. Any suggestions for help? I even tried puppeting baja to divert forces

When I was doing this, it served for two reason in my head: narrative and gamepay. For narrative, Oliver has California destroyed by a civil war before him, so he makes a hard choice to leave Mojave to the Legion and focus on rebuilding Cali first. And for gameplay it's not to force a player fight Legion right after or even during the civil war

Big fan of the mod, but why are you forced to let the Mojave go to Caesar to progress?

Complete "Spin the Wheel" focus and you'll get him in the election event

im also assuming you should be picking oliver in the civil war, i chose hamlon without thinking lol

Yeah, seems like Better Ideologies rewrites the Mojave tree in its files

just throwing this out here considering i had problems, to anyone wondering "better ideologies" is not compatible, messes with the focus tree and locks you out of the main mod

I'm also not getting the focus tree after completing "the savior of California" focus. I tried it in 2 separate campaigns and it didn't launch either time. This is also the only mod I have in addition to the vanilla OWB mod/Music mod

I didn't get the focus tree after winning in civil war as General Oliver and done the last focus of the original tree. Did I do something wrong or I need to wait a little longer?

Pick "California R&D" focus and he will be available as a canditate in the election

really fun campaign but i find winning the civil war nearly impossible, i had like 5ish games where i lost by being swarmed by the californian state

I've won the civil war, cored the states, then legion civil war happened and I got turned into Legionary puppet with Mr Fantastic as the country head huh????????????????????????

It seems like theres no effect to the "real human being" focus if you go down both the NCPD branch and the R&D branch in one run. IDK if this is on purpose or not but no ending event or anything kinda sucks

Chad's comment made me want to try this mod out. It's not an easy mod let me tell you. Even more so if you get attacked by the Legion while attacking the two other factions.

Other than that, I think there could have been more content for the aftermath of the civil war and nation-building, still a cool mod though !

Nice work, I actually did an Oliver Civil war run a few mouths ago and was disappointing to see how little content there was for it so it is nice that you thought to make a sub-mod for it. Will definite try it out.
