I did not say he is Dead, i say this mod is dead. It is not working on B41 (and of course it was not made for B42). Not working = obsolete = dead. And as i said in my last sentence "Maybe when B42 Stable is released he will come back".

A lot of Mod creators of B41 and other Games are doing this, because in the actual stage of B42, the developers patching something and ruin the logic of the Mod, which I totaly understand. Think about Skyrims latest Patches, and if you are not playing it, use google, there are many sources what went wrong.

BTW, he focuses on other mods and it is hard to keep improving Bandits NPC Mod, besides a real life. But for this mod he is gone.
I am really curious, if he will ever support this mod or any other mods he created again. 40% of his Mods were updated in Mid 2024. But i think he will, when B42 Stable is out.

I constantly get lag spikes every in-game 10 minutes, plus general performance seems to drop pretty decently once I get more than one Gen. So I don't recommend the mod atm.

You people can't comprehend that a modder is not obligated to anything.
Saying "He's dead" "Modder refuses to update!" and anything likewise is exactly how you make someone NOT want to do something lmao

guys this mod is dead, the author is not here anymore, otherwise he would have done it. Maybe when B42 stable is released he will come back

Does this mod need to be enabled whenever you start a world or is it able to be enabled in an already active world
it keeps sending me error messages while clicking the info button and the statistics are still vanilla 3rd floor btw is it me

Came looking for exactly this kind of mod. Am I mistaken or does the mod dramatically reduce power consumption? Adding this to existing save, just before adding mod, I had 8 popsicle fridges and 2 lights running, 1 full-fuel generator last 1 day, 18 hours, after installing this mod, 1 generator lasts 6 days and 2 gens last 12 days? Anyone else experienced the same. For me this is an issue as I didn't want to change vanilla game balance, only wanted to run gens in parallel. I like the generator read out screen and graph.

Ok i got my answer. Even if my generators have enough fuel for 80 days, durability wise they would explode long before that.
So, multiple gens are good for high peak loads but not much useful for long running because of durability degradation over time.
Will see if i can tinker with the .lua files about that.

just installed it and tried with my most advanced game (14 months survived).
it doesnt work with the GENA trailer generator from AutoTsar. i cant see the generator info anymore, and its been ignored on or off.
i had there 3 vanilla generators. so, connected them gradually and everything works well for those. For my modest power consumption, 1 regular fridge, 1 ICE freezer and a bunch of lights, one generator usually was good for 23 days or so. after connecting all 3, im good for about 69 days now!
Actually was using the trailer generator hoping it would have larger fuel tank but not so.
so its not very helpful except for the installed lights and ability to charge up to 3 flashlight batteries. So the mod solved a big headache for me since i have 4 bases in LV. I had to write on a ingame notebook the days i need to be there to refuel them.
One question: how about the generator health degradation now? will it be 3 x slower or the same?

The patch is now live. Any bug reports on your mod past about Dec 18 in regards to the info menu not working in tangent with my mod should be treated with hesitation.

I will inform you that I had to overwrite a single function that you are unlikely to modify on your own, if you'd like to investigate this then you are welcome to. It was to make sure only one instance of the menu was active at a time since my system only supports such an infrastructure, and it would be unnecessary to add further support.

May have unintentionally caused a bug on your end with the updates to Visible Generator Range, I do apologize! I'll be working out a patch on my end that should - hopefully - resolve issues.

Load "Randomized Generators" before this mod (above on the loading list)

Fixed it for me atleast

Yeah I'm having the same issue. Generators are working fine, however the view generator information is just giving a random error :(

Yeah, something's borked with the mod. The generators still work, but trying to view the generator info results in an error (only visible thanks to the error popup mod). I can still shut them down, refuel them, and repair them, but I have no other way to see if they need fuel or repairs.

This happens not just for the trailer generator from AutoTsar's, but vanilla generators. Though I do have AutoTsar's mod installed.

If the author isn't interested in fixing it, I might take a stab at it myself; if I have permission I could just send the author the updated mod code.
