However, in my case the engine never stopped after switching off the key. The engine was silently running at 4-5 rps all the time.
I solved this with 2 numerical switch-boxes inisde the ECU.
I put them at the very end of the logic to AIR and FUEL/Throttle.
The On-value comes from the ECU, and the OFF value just sends "0" to both throttle-settings.
I connected the on-value to the key, switch. Now the engine stops as soon as the key is set to "off".
Seawater-cooling is broken at the moment caused by the extreme limitation of the ports.
I would suggest:
-proper gearing to reduce the RPS
-colling via heatsink underneath the boat and using impellers for effective flow-rate.
