For anyone experiencing problems when trying to "Save & Exit" (Flashing Screen - Forcing Alt + F4):

From my experience (yours might be different, if so the console/log can help with finding the cause of most bugs) this is caused by a Null exception. The mod is throwing an error because there is no input device detected. Upon starting the game/compiling the mod, I believe the mod will attempt to look for any input device. If it doesn't find any, upon loading into a world the issues will be present. Note plugging in an input device after booting the game will not solve this.

Workarounds:

1. Start the game with an input device plugged in. i.e. plug in your microphone before launching the game (you can unplug it once you've booted in).

2. Launch the game without a device plugged in. Disable the mod, plug in your microphone, re-enable the mod with your microphone plugged in. (Can be annoying if you are running a lot of mods... recompiling is long).

discord and other things was laggy in my country, but god damn, this mod is really good, a little quiet. but you can increase volume 10/10

When I have this mod enabled, I am unable to leave a world. Clicking "Save and Exit" just flickers the UI for a frame, and then does nothing. The only way to leave is to do alt-f4, which due to not being able to manual save (until I got a mod for it), actually deleted my weapon.
I'm on windows running tModloader v2025.6.3.0

yeah it's also crashing for me, and im also on mac. it wants tmodloader v2024.1.3.0 and I have v2024.11.3.2

tried loading on most recent tModLoader update and it had an error message and closed the game. (i tried with no other mods... same problem) (i'm on macOS 15.2 if that helps)

Can you add an option to turn off the background music reduction? It's constantly on in my world with my 3 friends for some reason, and the low music doesn't sound right. I'd rather just listen to my friends and the bg music if they're loud enough

Sadly, me and my friend's mic do not work with this mod.

The reason the desync occurs on open mic mode is because it's constantly transmitting, in future I will likely implement a system that only sends your voice if you're speaking, in order to fix the desync.

@Honey thanks for the comment! Right now the main way to address delay is by using the push to talk mode. Alternatively, you can also switch off your mic, wait ~10 seconds (or however long the delay is), then turn it back on.
