ragdolls work fine for enemies i killed, but ragdolls of bodies i didnt kill are completely stretched out all over the place

if I were to add the phy files to the models of BMCE, would I just have to take a random phy file from this (after unpacking via Crowbar?) and replace/rename the phy files with it in the BMCE vpk's? or is there more to it than that?

I tried simply removing the phy files like @jahpeg suggested further below in the comments but all that changed is that now some of the character models have visible wireframes visible... granted, i'm not super familiar with modding tbh

Hey, me again. At this point in time, I'm considering either switching to another mod (non-existing mod unfortunately.. A.K.A Vanilla ragdolls), or just deleting BMCE itself and just live with this. I cannot figure out where else I can find the BMCE .phy files other than deleting it itself.

Oh, Sorry. It's just that I don't usually get my point across multiple messages and I don't really 'chat' in the Steam Comments. So yeah. Sorry about floodin' it. I believe the BMCE mod replaces them, since the npc_create npc_human_grunt spawns in the HECU:R ones.. Or.. BMCE HECU.. Whatever it's called.

Another thing, How do I use the HECU Physics files from this mod? Or.. Whatever? (Sorry, It's 'very' hard for me to understand since I'm not native to.. English.. Y'know what, this point doesn't stand anymore.) Where do I even find it? I also can't find any other .phy files for the HECU:R models, So I'm a bit lost here.. Heh..?

if the mod you're using adds new models instead of replacing existing ones, you'll have to replace their physics files yourself. this mod only affects models included in the base game. you can use any of the HECU physics files from this mod and that should work fine

and if you could try and keep it to one comment at a time, that'd be appreciated

Problem is: Every model except the stuff from BMCE (BMRF Staff and HECU Combatives) don't work. Only a few specific HECU Combatives work.

if your custom model has its own physics file you have to manually remove it
black mesa is the only source game where you have to do this

Works fine for me on a few modded maps with BMCE, probably because there's next to none scripted deaths. I have the poor taste to enjoy vanilla ragdolls in dying motion at least, but the aftermath is definitely more realistic with this mod.
